This year, however, Warner Bros. theatrical movies will have a 45-day theaters-only run before moving to HBO Max.)

n the trailer the Queen/Bassett says her entire family is dead. It also shows Lupita giving birth to T’Challa’s child.
So, the Atlanteans attack. Shuri is killed in her attempt to take the BP mantle and defend Wakandan, or maybe captured and presumed dead. Then Nakia gives birth. Somehow a heart shaped herb is found and given to her, she is powered up and quickly recovers from giving birth (she may even take it while pregnant because she is seriously injured in the Atlantean attack.) Nakia becomes BP and queen regent. She fights Namor, and maybe also rescues Shuri.
Something like that.

What TV show was amazing at first but became unwatchable for you later on?
Heroes
Season 1 was great and fresh. Season 2 didn’t know what to do with itself and just started giving everyone super powers.
By Season 3, characters were just changing motivations at the drop of a hat and it was just a huge mess of bad writing.
The blacklist, so many loopholes and a never ending plot. I mean, the female hero (forgot her name) was wanted and had her pictures broadcast nationwide live, but a couple of weeks after she can do undercover work.
Not the worst offender, but That 70’s Show tanked pretty hard once Eric left. He was sorely needed to make the chemistry of the group work.

Anyway, got me thinking, what are some other movies like this? Last words are the title of the film.

2- Perfection
3- “I am Iron Man“
4- The Breakfast Club

7- “It’s Fantastic”
8- “Guys, I think I’ve got it”
9- Fant4stic
10- I told my wife about my dinner with Andre“
11- Queen’s Boulevard
12- “By the end of that summer of ’59, we truly were a Fellowship of the Ring.”
13- Mystery men ends with a reporter asking “who are these Mystery men?”

How strong is Black Noir in The Boys?
I’d argue he’s the second most powerful member of The Seven
(Note, I’m doing TV Show Black Noir)
Black Noir is my favorite character in The Boys only second to Stormfront (cause she’s hot). So I always wanted to publicly share where I scale Noir, but before I do this, I have to share a few stuff stuff.
- The Boys Presents Diabolical is mostly canon, specifically episodes 6,7 and 8.
That’s really all, now sit back and enjoy (or dislike) this answer.
- Section 1: AP
Black Noir’s AP feat-wise isn’t too impressive since his speed is the real deal, but he’s still no joke since he’s able to fight and defeat Kimiko in a battle.
(I consider this fight to be an outlier since Black Noir should be faster than her, but it doesn’t change the fight since Black Noir is stronger)
And keep in mind this is the same Kimiko that survived attacks from A-Train
And even reacted to A Train while he was going fast
This says a lot since she was badly damaged while fighting Noir (Had to use her self healing to survive), and she didn’t even get harmed that much while fighting A-Train since she got back up a few seconds later.
And he has shown himself to be much stronger than Starlight in multiple instances
https://giant.gfycat.com/ImpossibleExhaustedHarvestmouse.mp4
This is the same Starlight that survived an attack from Stormfront (Same with Kimiko)
And Starlight tanked a Serbu BFG 50A with no injury
So already Noir scales above Kimiko and Starlight and scales above A Train due to a better performance aganist Kimiko, you could also argue his AP being at least on par with Maeve due to the tree nut scene and her deciding to use tree nuts instead of fighting him.
But it’s an iffy argument, doesn’t really matter though cause I think Noir beats her regardless.
- Section 2: Speed
My favorite section yet.
Noir is stated to be much faster than a car
Not too impressive but this is just the start.
Black Noir was consistently able to dodge Homelander’s beams
And dodged Homelander himself
I made an answer as to why Homelander is Hypersonic+ at least and his lasers are faster, check it out
Homelander is narratively potrayed to be the most powerful being in The Boys and should be the fastest
Not only that but Black Noir is consistently able to counter Homelander’s beams with his knives and is fast enough to throw them
https://i.giphy.com/media/mopdzvwJYP1FbseXKL/giphy.mp4 https://i.giphy.com/media/JrxshenT8yh7W7kpxi/giphy.mp4
No one in The Boys has shown a good speed feat like Black Noir just for this (excluding Homelander) not even A Train has shown anything like this.
- Section 3: Durability
Doesn’t show too much but he’s able to tank a bomb from Naqib
With minor injuries to him
And tanked explosions previously as well
https://giant.gfycat.com/AdorableAbandonedInchworm.mp4 https://giant.gfycat.com/ElementarySpeedyDodo.mp4
- Section 4: Others
Not too much but he’s great at Martial Arts, Stealth, Weapons, etc. He’s basically Batman
I hope you enjoyed the answer, wanna thank some people who remain annoymous for proving the scans to some of these

- What is one scene that made you sure an actor had it, even if their career never became hugeby /u/gamersecret2 on February 18, 2026 at 5:33 pm
Sometimes it is not the whole movie. It is one scene. One look. One line reading. And you just know this person can act. For me it is Ben Foster in 3:10 to Yuma. The campfire talk with Russell Crowe. He is calm, but you can feel how dangerous he is. Half the tension is just on his face. Also Haley Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense. The car scene with Toni Collette when he finally opens up. It feels raw and real, like a kid finally telling the truth he has been holding in for years. What is your pick? Name the movie and the exact scene that sold you. Thank you. submitted by /u/gamersecret2 [link] [comments]

- 'How To Make A Killing' - Review Threadby /u/ChiefLeef22 on February 18, 2026 at 3:05 pm
Disowned at birth by his wealthy family, Becket Redfellow will stop at nothing to reclaim his inheritance, no matter how many relatives stand in his way. Director: John Patton Ford Cast: Glen Powell, Margaret Qualley, Jessica Henwick, Topher Grace, Ed Harris, Zach Woods Rotten Tomatoes: 51% Metacritic: 54 / 100 Some Reviews: The Wrap - Matt Goldberg - 4 / 5 How to Make a Killing has the acuity to know that even if you are willing to play such a rigged game in ruthless fashion, you’ll still lose. The film’s magic trick is taking this bleak idea and knowing how to find the fun in such brutal sport. Slash Film - Bill Bria - 7 / 10 Powell's Becket recalls similar upwardly mobile antiheroes like Saul Goodman or Michael Corleone, characters who seem to be living a wish fulfillment of righteousness, only to find themselves trapped by the persona they've built up. It's this aspect which Ford addresses most subtly, ultimately making "How to Make a Killing" a cleverly scathing indictment of the American dream as it stands. It's also an impressively multi-layered indictment, too, for while it'd be easy (and rather popular) for Ford to point out how the haves and the have-nots aren't all that different from each other if they were able to switch places, the filmmaker instead leans into the complexity and systemic issues surrounding wealth and success. "How to Make a Killing" is a movie that sneaks up on you, and like Becket himself, doesn't simply stab you in the chest or punch you in the gut. Instead, it slowly poisons you, leaving you bewildered by the end as to how sick you and the country you live in has become. AV Club - Jacob Oller - 'C' At the center of it all is Powell, making the same face for an hour and 45 minutes, too unflappable to root for, too smug to magnetize as an inhuman American Psycho. And How To Make A Killing needed to pick a side, either of clownish class comedy or of bitter sociopathic satire. Its split-difference approach certainly racks up a sizable body count, but its most battered and bruised victim is the truism it keeps hitting: In America, there are no consequences for the rich, unless other rich people desire it. That’s almost funny, in an empty and respectable way, like how a New Yorker cartoon is almost funny, or how Glen Powell is almost a leading man. Next Best Picture - Matt Neglia - 6 / 10 As someone who absolutely loves any kind of a crime film, “How To Make A Killing” can be entertaining at times as a morality play wrapped in designer suits and generational spite. It’s juggling a lot more than it needs to, and it never fully synthesizes its most perceptive ideas, but it’s powered by another star performance from Powell, keeping it barely afloat. Slant Magazine - Alexander Mooney - 3 / 4 The brittle humanity of Ford’s characters is the key ingredient to his film’s grim sense of irony. In a media landscape replete with hot-button satires and airless farces, How to Make a Killing’s rejection of formal frippery and easy caricature is refreshing. Ford cultivates an old-school flair while keeping one finger on the pulse of the current moment, shrewdly retooling the canonical story of a rotten family patronage to comment on a quintessential American birthright: the compulsive desire for individual gain. Variety - Owen Glieberman It’s likely that 95 percent of the people who go to see “How to Make a Killing” will never have seen, or even heard of, “Kind Hearts and Coronets,” the 1949 British black comedy it’s a remake of — or, I should say, a reimagining, since for once that marketing-spin term applies. In its day, “Kind Hearts and Coronets” was wickedly outrageous. But in the age of “Dexter” and “Succession” and “Beef,” “How to Make a Killing” just plays as a patchy amusement. Yet I was held by it; the film’s acrid riffs on the hidden depravity of the new greed culture keep it aloft. And each time Margaret Qualley shows up, she gives the movie a charge, because of how her Julia incarnates money hunger cut off from everything else. Qualley somehow makes that fun, maybe because it’s the one thing in the movie that everyone can agree on. submitted by /u/ChiefLeef22 [link] [comments]

- What is the coolest/coldest/hardest line that comes from a film you wouldn’t expect?by /u/msparks2 on February 18, 2026 at 12:57 pm
Exactly like the question says. What’s the most badass line from a movie that’s not generally associated with being particularly legendary? Maybe the movie is lame, but has this awesome moment. Maybe it’s a movie aimed at kids, but has one line that goes hard, et cetera. I’ll start! It’s from a movie that deserves a bit more praise than it gets, unexpectedly dropping the hardest line of all time. - In ‘Goodfellas’, is Tommy D. actually humiliated during the “I amuse you?” scene?by /u/jaystats2 on February 18, 2026 at 8:50 am
Is that scene about a wounded ego, or is it a status check? On the surface, it looks like Tommy gets his feelings hurt. For a second he seems honestly confused, like Henry just called him a clown in front of everyone. But Tommy has clear sociopathic tendencies. He enjoys pushing people to the edge and watching them squirm. Add in his Napoleon complex and it makes even more sense. He’s small, volatile, and obsessed with respect. The sudden switch in tone feels less like insecurity and more like a reminder that he decides when people laugh and when they panic. As for Henry, the fear makes sense in that moment because they’re in public and the power dynamic is on display. Tommy’s unpredictable, and everyone at that table knows he’s capable of real violence over something minor(Spider’s killing later in the film). When they torch the Bamboo Lounge together, Henry scolds him because the setting is different. They’re alone, partners in crime, not performing for an audience. Henry isn’t fearless. He just understands when Tommy is posturing and when he’s actually unstable. At the table, with witnesses and pride involved, the risk feels real. Insight into the real-life Tommy from Pileggi’s ‘Wiseguy’ made me think about this. It also made me think about Scorsese’s genius at work. Did he layer the scene in a way that every choice Pesci makes is open to interpretation? Is Tommy actually humiliated for a second, or is he entirely in control, and just running that power check on Henry? Scorsese doesn’t force a single answer. Instead, he lets the tension live in the ambiguity. The fear in Henry is real either way, but the audience is never sure if it’s ‘cause Tommy’s ego is bruised or because he’s testing who’ll break first. submitted by /u/jaystats2 [link] [comments]

- I really miss Fred Willard 😞by /u/MythicalSplash on February 18, 2026 at 3:52 am
The guy was in absolutely EVERYTHING. I can’t think of another actor that prolific…one quite likely to show up in whatever movie or TV show I happen to be watching. He was a great character actor too, with a distinctive voice that added so much to his roles. His presence in sitcoms alone was ubiquitous, whether as a lead actor or one-time character. He was especially awesome in WALL-E. submitted by /u/MythicalSplash [link] [comments]
