So, the Atlanteans attack. Shuri is killed in her attempt to take the BP mantle and defend Wakandan, or maybe captured and presumed dead. Then Nakia gives birth. Somehow a heart shaped herb is found and given to her, she is powered up and quickly recovers from giving birth (she may even take it while pregnant because she is seriously injured in the Atlantean attack.) Nakia becomes BP and queen regent. She fights Namor, and maybe also rescues Shuri.
Something like that.

Bud Jablonski (Jamie Fox) is a pool cleaner who scores extra cash as an exterminator, ridding the San Fernando Valley of its enduring vampire problem. But he does this work freelance—not part of the slayers union—so it’s not as lucrative as it is for his friend Big John Elliott (Snoop Dogg,) who is using his clout to bring Bud back to guild wages and benefits.

Trying to wrap my head around why they called the movie Death of a Ladies Man but used Bird on a Wire instead.
The movie was “inspired by the songs of Leonard Cohen.” So, I assume they’re going to use more than one.

What TV show was amazing at first but became unwatchable for you later on?
Heroes
Season 1 was great and fresh. Season 2 didn’t know what to do with itself and just started giving everyone super powers.
By Season 3, characters were just changing motivations at the drop of a hat and it was just a huge mess of bad writing.
The blacklist, so many loopholes and a never ending plot. I mean, the female hero (forgot her name) was wanted and had her pictures broadcast nationwide live, but a couple of weeks after she can do undercover work.
Not the worst offender, but That 70’s Show tanked pretty hard once Eric left. He was sorely needed to make the chemistry of the group work.
Once Upon a Time. The first 3 seasons were good! And then after that they just kept getting worse

What are movies where the final line of dialogue is the title of the movie?

Anyway, got me thinking, what are some other movies like this? Last words are the title of the film.
1- “And then they realized they were no longer little girls…They were little women.” – As read by Moe
2- Perfection
3- “I am Iron Man“
4- The Breakfast Club
5- “It’s Fantastic.”
6- “Say that again”
7- “It’s Fantastic”
8- “Guys, I think I’ve got it”
9- Fant4stic

11- Queen’s Boulevard
12- “By the end of that summer of ’59, we truly were a Fellowship of the Ring.”

How strong is Black Noir in The Boys?
I’d argue he’s the second most powerful member of The Seven
(Note, I’m doing TV Show Black Noir)
Black Noir is my favorite character in The Boys only second to Stormfront (cause she’s hot). So I always wanted to publicly share where I scale Noir, but before I do this, I have to share a few stuff stuff.
- The Boys Presents Diabolical is mostly canon, specifically episodes 6,7 and 8.
That’s really all, now sit back and enjoy (or dislike) this answer.
- Section 1: AP
Black Noir’s AP feat-wise isn’t too impressive since his speed is the real deal, but he’s still no joke since he’s able to fight and defeat Kimiko in a battle.
(I consider this fight to be an outlier since Black Noir should be faster than her, but it doesn’t change the fight since Black Noir is stronger)
And keep in mind this is the same Kimiko that survived attacks from A-Train
And even reacted to A Train while he was going fast
This says a lot since she was badly damaged while fighting Noir (Had to use her self healing to survive), and she didn’t even get harmed that much while fighting A-Train since she got back up a few seconds later.
And he has shown himself to be much stronger than Starlight in multiple instances
https://giant.gfycat.com/ImpossibleExhaustedHarvestmouse.mp4
This is the same Starlight that survived an attack from Stormfront (Same with Kimiko)
And Starlight tanked a Serbu BFG 50A with no injury
So already Noir scales above Kimiko and Starlight and scales above A Train due to a better performance aganist Kimiko, you could also argue his AP being at least on par with Maeve due to the tree nut scene and her deciding to use tree nuts instead of fighting him.
But it’s an iffy argument, doesn’t really matter though cause I think Noir beats her regardless.
- Section 2: Speed
My favorite section yet.
Noir is stated to be much faster than a car
Not too impressive but this is just the start.
Black Noir was consistently able to dodge Homelander’s beams
And dodged Homelander himself
I made an answer as to why Homelander is Hypersonic+ at least and his lasers are faster, check it out
Homelander is narratively potrayed to be the most powerful being in The Boys and should be the fastest
Not only that but Black Noir is consistently able to counter Homelander’s beams with his knives and is fast enough to throw them
https://i.giphy.com/media/mopdzvwJYP1FbseXKL/giphy.mp4 https://i.giphy.com/media/JrxshenT8yh7W7kpxi/giphy.mp4
No one in The Boys has shown a good speed feat like Black Noir just for this (excluding Homelander) not even A Train has shown anything like this.
- Section 3: Durability
Doesn’t show too much but he’s able to tank a bomb from Naqib
With minor injuries to him
And tanked explosions previously as well
https://giant.gfycat.com/AdorableAbandonedInchworm.mp4 https://giant.gfycat.com/ElementarySpeedyDodo.mp4
- Section 4: Others
Not too much but he’s great at Martial Arts, Stealth, Weapons, etc. He’s basically Batman
I hope you enjoyed the answer, wanna thank some people who remain annoymous for proving the scans to some of these

- "Manchester by the Sea" is one of the best movies I've ever seenby /u/fabrar on August 17, 2022 at 9:31 pm
Just watched it and it was an incredible - albeit emotionally draining - experience. It's one of those movies that just had me transfixed the entire time. It's so intimate and human, examining the aftereffects of grief and a tragedy you can never really move past. Casey Affleck is really next level amazing in this. Every scene he's in is a acting masterclass, and he conveys so much hidden pain and emotion in what is for the most part a pretty low-key performance. His scenes with Michelle Williams (who's also amazing here) are so good, especially the one where they randomly meet in town, was just heartbreaking. Also amazing is his relationship with his nephew (again, a great performance by Lucas Hedges), which brings some joy and levity in an otherwise bleak film. Watching Affleck's character transform and develop from his dead, hollow exterior back into something resembling human is incredible. Even though it's a pretty sad and tragic movie as a whole, there's a certain feeling of catharsis there in confronting your grief and coming to terms with it, even if you're not overcoming it. This is a movie I think will stay with me for a very long time. submitted by /u/fabrar [link] [comments]

- Richard Pryor had a great run of movies in the 80's, from The Toy, to Brewster's Millions, and my personal favorite See No Evil, Hear No Evil.by /u/StabbyMcSwordfish on August 17, 2022 at 5:26 pm
I grew up in the 80's and loved the shit out of Richard Pryor's movies. I haven't seen much discussion on them, but think they deserve more attention as comedies that actually hold up. I revisit See No Evil recently and had a blast. It's hilarious from star to finish. Pryor had such a unique comedic voice and presence and a lot of his movies were high concept comedies that really allowed him to shine. Just wanted to recommend them to people looking for a good time, and also I'm curious of other people's opinions on his work. submitted by /u/StabbyMcSwordfish [link] [comments]
- Who are some bad actors with a good performance?by /u/Imapony on August 17, 2022 at 5:05 pm
For example, Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman. Objectively she's a bad actor but I really liked her in the first movie. Gal's real world naivete and feeling "out of place" among the rest of the cast fit the character who's also naive and out of place in the film. Shout out to Cara Delevigne for the same reason in Carnival Row. I won't roast The Rock because he was good in The Rundown and Pain and Gain, and at this point it's clear he's not trying to be a "good" actor like Bautista or Cena, or win awards, and is just having fun while collecting bank. I can respect that. submitted by /u/Imapony [link] [comments]

- Why aren't there more movies about the Punic Wars?by /u/jl55378008 on August 17, 2022 at 3:20 pm
The Punic Wars are, IMO, one of the most unbelievable, incredible periods of human history that I've ever read about. It has so much that would be absolutely amazing to see in a huge epic movie: Two mega-empires fighting to extinguish each other from existence Multi-generational blood feuds (on both sides) A whole slew of battles that are still used today to teach military strategy Multiple PERFECT cliff-hanger opportunities Hannibal marching elephants over the god-damned Alps Not to mention, dealer's choice of whether the story is a tragedy (Hannibal almost finishing what his father started, or Scipio snatching victory from the jaws of total devastation) Perhaps the most terrible revenge/victory in the history of humanity But when you try to find movies about this period of history, you're basically left with one: Cabiria, an Italian silent epic from 1914. My question is: Why? Why haven't more filmmakers tried to bring this story to the screen? At this point I'd settle for a crappy Netflix series or something. submitted by /u/jl55378008 [link] [comments]

- "Passengers" with Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt is one of the most transparently "wish fulfillment" movies I've seenby /u/PM-me-Thor-nudes on August 16, 2022 at 8:44 pm
It's borderline Wattpad material. Have you ever fantasized about being stuck on an island with Jennifer Lawrence but don't want to worry about pesky little things like scavenging for food and supplies or basic survival? Well, say no more, because here you'll be trapped in an automated, luxurious space cruise with Jennifer Lawrence. Your every need will be met by helpful, sassy British bartenders and you'll live out your days in languorous comfort. You won't have to worry about any competition for J-Law's attention, of course, because everyone else in the cruise will be conveniently asleep in their cryo chambers. Except for the hottest woman, whom you woke up in a moment of horniness weakness that the movie will bend over backwards to justify (more on that later). But worry not, you'll get to keep your status as a relatable, salt-of-the-earth, blue collar everyday guy and still partake of the ship's luxurious priviliges because J-Law will use her VIP bracelet to procure the best food and accommodations for you, cheap ticket holder. Whew! That was close! And then, eventually, of course, J-Law will find out you woke her up and basically doomed her to a slow death with nobody else but you by her side and prevented her from fulfilling her life-long dream of being the first journalist to set foot on humanity's newly-colonized planet. BUT, before she can get too angry about a simple faux pas like that, Laurence Fishburne will make a timely appearance and with his Old Man Wisdom and in his dying breath (we don't want ol' Laurence staying for too long and stealing your girl, right?), he will tell J-Law to forgive you because you need to stay together, for...reasons, even though he doesn't know any of you. And if that wasn't enough to make J-Law forget you murdered her and ruined her life, there's a sudden mechanical problem that threatens the lives of everyone onboard and only you with your humble, mechanical prowess can fix it, heroically risking your life in the process. But you'll survive of course, and you'll save the day so hard that J-Law will not only forgive you but she'll fall in love with you so completely that she'll refuse to use the surplus cryo chamber and instead choose to spend the rest of her life wandering around an empty ship with you, because women don't need those silly professional goals, they just need a man to make them happy. Ain't that a lovely fantasy? submitted by /u/PM-me-Thor-nudes [link] [comments]

- Please Netflix, I beg of you; let the credits roll.by /u/This_Ferret on August 16, 2022 at 9:36 am
I've just finished Gladiator. The music swells as the camera pans above the colosseum. The emotions that come from a triumphant yet bittersweet ending begin to settle. And as the screen fades to black, and you feel the catharsis that comes from watching an epic film take hold.... A bright title card for Suits comes up. Who has ever finished a film and on finishing it clicks the recommended film straight away? And yet the ads come up, every single time. It completely ruins the moment. And yes, you can click the box to continue watching the credits- but why should we even have to do that? Why is it so hard for Netflix to not promote their material for five minutes after a film ends? In a life bombarded by advertisements do we have to be shown another one the second a film finishes? Is there no respite? From what I've seen online there isn't a way to disable this specific feature (though I would really love to be proven wrong on this one). Anyway, rant over. submitted by /u/This_Ferret [link] [comments]
