How can I get someone’s IP from WhatsApp?
If you’re wondering how to get someone’s IP from WhatsApp, you’re not alone. This is a question that’s often asked by programmers, developers, and software engineers. After all, smartphones are becoming more and more powerful and WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. However, getting someone’s IP from WhatsApp is not as simple as it sounds. The app uses a number of security measures to protect users’ privacy, so it’s not possible to just extract someone’s IP address from a chat session. That said, there are ways to work around this issue. Programmers and developers with experience in reverse engineering can sometimes find ways to get access to WhatsApp servers and extract IP addresses from there. But this is definitely not something that the average person can do. So if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to get someone’s IP from WhatsApp, you’re out of luck.
This is something that might work, the author did not try it himself.
Whatsapp being P2P as they claim, it might work
- First the person must be online
- Your phone must be rooted
- And then install busybox
- And then install any command prompt from google playstore like termux
- Close anything that uses internet by clicking disable on all apps who use internet
- and then open whatsapp and try to make a voice call or a video call with that person
- and then during the call open Termux and type this command : netstat -n
- If the connection was really peer 2 peer as whatsapp says his IP must be one of the foreign IP Addresses you would see on their Terminal.
*Note: if won’t work if the connection was not peer 2 peer you would see the server IP instead of his IP, I said i did not try it*

Conclusion:
One of the most frequently asked questions from WhatsApp users is “How can I get someone’s IP from WhatsApp?” The answer to this question is not as simple as it may seem. Programmers and developers have created a number of ways to obtain someone’s IP address, but none of these methods are foolproof. The most reliable way to get someone’s IP address is to ask them for it. However, this isn’t always possible, and it certainly isn’t the most elegant solution. If you’re looking for a more sophisticated method, you can try asking a software engineer or smartphone developer. They may be able to help you figure out how to obtain someone’s IP address from WhatsApp. However, keep in mind that this isn’t an exact science, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to get the information you’re looking for.

- Notifications stop coming 30 seconds after leaving the app [iPhone 11]by /u/CrazyJony (WhatsApp Reddit) on September 30, 2023 at 1:27 am
A couple of months ago, I started experiencing a weird bug. I didn’t change any settings, all notifications are toggled on, as well as background refresh. After I leave the app and it goes to background, I can receive messages for about 30 seconds (notifications come through normally). After that, any messages that people send will not be delivered until I open the app again. I tested this with a friend and I see that the messages only show 1 tick until I open the app again. I’ve tried toggling notifications off and on, hard rebooting the iPhone, nothing seems to fix it. I’m trying to avoid having to reinstall the app, as I don’t have all data backed up. Did anyone experience this? Any fixes? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/CrazyJony [link] [comments]

- "The code you entered was sent too long ago and is no longer valid" - arghhhhby /u/roxy712 (WhatsApp Reddit) on September 29, 2023 at 11:42 pm
Long story short, I factory reset and cleared my Pixel 4a to update to Android 13. I was able to successfully log into Whatsapp with my US number, but it wasn't reading my backup/archive file (showed chats from 2022). I cleared data/uninstalled and tried again with no luck with the restore. The third time it started giving me major issues with the 2FA process. I would get the text message, enter it, and it wouldn't work. Then I ran out of SMS send options so I tried to have it call me. Nothing. I tried again 12+ hours later and was able to successfully get the code authenticated by putting my US sim card in my phone (I use my old phone for any US texts as it's easier than swapping cards all the time, so this time I put it in my 4a). It would immediately get the text and auto-populate the code field, but then I'd get this message: "The code you entered was sent too long ago and is no longer valid. Request another SMS or call to get a new code." This is maddening. I got the code and the app said it was successfully verified, then it tells me it's too old?! Anyone else have this issue? submitted by /u/roxy712 [link] [comments]

- Got a new number but keeps getting blocked for spam?by /u/lions2lambs (WhatsApp Reddit) on September 29, 2023 at 11:01 pm
I got a new phone number a month ago. I migrated my old number to my new number a few days ago and I got banned with the message “This account is not allowed to use WhatsApp due to spam”. I requested a review and was unbanned. Now, about 2-3 days later I got banned for the same reason. The absolute ONLY person I’ve talked to on WhatsApp is two of my close friends. No strangers or anyone else. Can anyone shed some light here? submitted by /u/lions2lambs [link] [comments]
