When using AWS Lambda inside your VPC, your Lambda function will be allocated private IP addresses, and only private IP addresses, from your specified subnets. When an error occurs, your function may be invoked multiple times. Retry behavior varies by error type, client, event source, and invocation type. For asynchronous invocation, Lambda adds events to a queue before sending them to your function. If your function does not have enough capacity to keep up with the queue, events may be lost. The subnet mask determines how many bits of the network address are relevant (and thus indirectly the size of the network block in terms of how many host addresses are available) –
192.0.2.0, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 means that 192.0.2 is the significant portion of the network number, and that there 8 bits left for host addresses (i.e. 192.0.2.0 thru 192.0.2.255)
192.0.2.0, subnet mask 255.255.255.128 means that 192.0.2.0 is the significant portion of the network number (first three octets and the most significant bit of the last octet), and that there 7 bits left for host addresses (i.e. 192.0.2.0 thru 192.0.2.127)

How can we setup AWS public-private subnet in VPC without NAT server?
Within a single VPC, the subnets’ route tables need to point to each other. This will already work without additional routes because VPC sets up the local target to point to the VPC subnet.
Security groups are not used here since they are attached to instances, and not networks.
The NAT EC2 instance (server), or AWS-provided NAT gateway is necessary only if the private subnet internal addresses need to make outbound connections. The NAT will translate the private subnet internal addresses to the public subnet internal addresses, and the AWS VPC Internet Gateway will translate these to external IP addresses, which can then go out to the Internet. What are the applications (or workloads) that cannot be migrated on to cloud (AWS or Azure or GCP)?
A good example of workloads that currently are not in public clouds are mobile and fixed core telecom networks for tier 1 service providers. This is despite the fact that these core networks are increasingly software based and have largely been decoupled from the hardware. There are a number of reasons for this such as the public cloud providers such as Azure and AWS do not offer the guaranteed availability required by telecom networks. These networks require 99.999% availability and is typically referred to as telecom grade.

Why can’t a subnet’s CIDR be changed once it has been assigned?
Sure it can, but you’ll need to coordinate with the neighbors. You can merge two /25’s into a single /24 quite effortlessly if you control the entire range it covers. In practice you’ll see many tiny allocations in public IPv4 space, like /29’s and even smaller. Those are all assigned to different people. Good knowledge about the AWS services, and how to leverage them to solve simple to complex problems.
As your question is related to the deployment Pod, you will probably be asked about deployment methods (A/B testing like blue-green deployment) as well as pipelining strategies. You might be asked during this interview to reason about a simple task and to code it (like parsing a log file). Also review the TCP/IP stack in-depth as well as the tools to troubleshoot it for the networking round. You will eventually have some Linux questions, the range of questions can vary from common CLI tools to Linux internals like signals / syscalls / file descriptors and so on.
Last but not least the Leadership principles, I can only suggest you to prepare a story for each of them. You will quickly find what LP they are looking for and would be able to give the right signal to your interviewer.
Finally, remember that theres a debrief after the (usually 5) stages of your on site interview, and more senior and convincing interviewers tend to defend their vote so don’t screw up with them.
Be natural, focus on the question details and ask for confirmation, be cool but not too much. At the end of the day, remember that your job will be to understand customer issues and provide a solution, so treat your interviewers as if they were customers and they will see a successful CSE in you, be reassured and give you the job.

It also depends on the support team you are being hired for. Networking or compute teams (Ec2) have different interview patterns vs database or big data support.
In any case, basics of OS, networking are critical to the interview. If you have a phone screen, we will be looking for basic/semi advance skills of these and your speciality. For example if you mention Oracle in your resume and you are interviewing for the database team, expect a flurry of those questions.
Other important aspect is the Amazon leadership principles. Half of your interview is based on LPs. If you fail to have scenarios where you do not demonstrate our LPs, you cannot expect to work here even though your technical skills are above average (Having extraordinary skills is a different thing).
The overall interview itself will have 1 phone screen if you are interviewing in the US and 1–2 if outside US. The onsite loop will be 4 rounds , 2 of which are technical (again divided into OS and networking and the specific speciality of the team you are interviewing for ) and 2 of them are leadership principles where we test your soft skills and management skills as they are very important in this job. You need to have a strong view point, disagree if it seems valid to do so, empathy and be a team player while showing the ability to pull off things individually as well. Monolithic architecture is something that build from single piece of material, historically from rock. Monolith term normally use for object made from single large piece of material.” – Non-Technical Definition. “Monolithic application has single code base with multiple modules.
Large Monolithic code-base (often spaghetti code) puts immense cognitive complexity on the developer’s head. As a result, the development velocity is poor. Granular scaling (i.e., scaling part of the application) is not possible. Polyglot programming or polyglot database is challenging.
Drawbacks of Monolithic Architecture
This simple approach has a limitation in size and complexity. Application is too large and complex to fully understand and made changes fast and correctly. The size of the application can slow down the start-up time. You must redeploy the entire application on each update.
Sticky sessions, also known as session affinity, allow you to route a site user to the particular web server that is managing that individual user’s session. The session’s validity can be determined by a number of methods, including a client-side cookies or via configurable duration parameters that can be set at the load balancer which routes requests to the web servers.
Some advantages with utilizing sticky sessions are that it’s cost effective due to the fact you are storing sessions on the same web servers running your applications and that retrieval of those sessions is generally fast because it eliminates network latency. A drawback for using storing sessions on an individual node is that in the event of a failure, you are likely to lose the sessions that were resident on the failed node. In addition, in the event the number of your web servers change, for example a scale-up scenario, it’s possible that the traffic may be unequally spread across the web servers as active sessions may exist on particular servers. After you terminate an instance, it remains visible in the console for a short while, and then the entry is automatically deleted. You cannot delete the terminated instance entry yourself. After an instance is terminated, resources such as tags and volumes are gradually disassociated from the instance, therefore may no longer be visible on the terminated instance after a short while.
When an instance terminates, the data on any instance store volumes associated with that instance is deleted.
By default, Amazon EBS root device volumes are automatically deleted when the instance terminates. However, by default, any additional EBS volumes that you attach at launch, or any EBS volumes that you attach to an existing instance persist even after the instance terminates. This behavior is controlled by the volume’s DeleteOnTermination attribute, which you can modify
When you first launch an instance with gp2 volumes attached, you get an initial burst credit allowing for up to 30 minutes of 3,000 iops/sec.

Within the General Purpose (SSD) implementation is a Token Bucket model that works as follows
Each token represents an “I/O credit” that pays for one read or one write.
A bucket is associated with each General Purpose (SSD) volume, and can hold up to 5.4 million tokens.
Tokens accumulate at a rate of 3 per configured GB per second, up to the capacity of the bucket.
Tokens can be spent at up to 3000 per second per volume.
The baseline performance of the volume is equal to the rate at which tokens are accumulated — 3 IOPS per GB per second.
In addition to this, gp2 volumes provide baseline performance of 3 iops per Gb, up to 1Tb (3000 iops). Volumes larger than 1Tb no longer work on the credit system, as they already provide a baseline of 3000 iops. Gp2 volumes have a cap of 10,000 iops regardless of the volume size (so the iops max out for volumes larger than 3.3Tb)
Elastic IP addresses are free when you have them assigned to an instance, feel free to use one! Elastic IPs get disassociated when you stop an instance, so you will get charged in the mean time. The benefit is that you get to keep that IP allocated to your account though, instead of losing it like any other. Once you start the instance you just re-associate it back and you have your old IP again.

The short answer to reducing your AWS EC2 costs – turn off your instances when you don’t need them.
Your AWS bill is just like any other utility bill, you get charged for however much you used that month. Don’t make the mistake of leaving your instances on 24/7 if you’re only using them during certain days and times (ex. Monday – Friday, 9 to 5).
To automatically start and stop your instances, AWS offers an “EC2 scheduler” solution. A better option would be a cloud cost management tool that not only stops and starts your instances automatically, but also tracks your usage and makes sizing recommendations to optimize your cloud costs and maximize your time and savings.
You could potentially save money using Reserved Instances. But, in non-production environments such as dev, test, QA, and training, Reserved Instances are not your best bet. Why is this the case? These environments are less predictable; you may not know how many instances you need and when you will need them, so it’s better to not waste spend on these usage charges. Instead, schedule such instances (preferably using ParkMyCloud). Scheduling instances to be only up 12 hours per day on weekdays will save you 65% – better than all but the most restrictive 3-year RIs!

Instance:

AMI:

Data in the EBS are stored in S3 by taking point-to-time snapshots
Unique data are only deleted when a snapshot is deleted
They are definitely all chalk and cheese to one another.
A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is essentially an encrypted “channel” connecting two networks, or a machine to a network, generally over the public internet.
A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is a rented virtual machine running on someone else’s hardware. AWS EC2 can be thought of as a VPS, but the term is usually used to describe low-cost products offered by lots of other hosting companies.
A VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) is a virtual network in AWS (Amazon Web Services). It can be divided into private and public subnets, have custom routing rules, have internal connections to other VPCs, etc. EC2 instances and other resources are placed in VPCs similarly to how physical data centers have operated for a very long time.
Elastic IP address is basically the static IP (IPv4) address that you can allocate to your resources.
Now, in case that you allocate IP to the resource (and the resource is running), you are not charged anything. On the other hand, if you create Elastic IP, but you do not allocate it to the resource (or the resource is not running), then you are charged some amount (should be around $0.005 per hour if I remember correctly)
Additional info about these:
You are limited to 5 Elastic IP addresses per region. If you require more than that, you can contact AWS support with a request for additional addresses. You need to have a good reason in order to be approved because IPv4 addresses are becoming a scarce resource.
In general, you should be good without Elastic IPs for most of the use-cases (as every EC2 instance has its own public IP, and you can use load balancers, as well as map most of the resources via Route 53).
One of the use-cases that I’ve seen where my client is using Elastic IP is to make it easier for him to access specific EC2 instance via RDP, as well as do deployment through Visual Studio, as he targets the Elastic IP, and thus does not have to watch for any changes in public IP (in case of stopping or rebooting).
At this time, AWS Transit Gateway does not support inter region attachments. The transit gateway and the attached VPCs must be in the same region. VPC peering supports inter region peering.
The EC2 instance is server instance whilst a Workspace is windows desktop instance
Both Windows Server and Windows workstation editions have desktops. Windows Server Core doesn’t not (and AWS doesn’t have an AMI for Windows Server Core that I could find).
It is possible to SSH into a Windows instance – this is done on port 22. You would not see a desktop when using SSH if you had enabled it. It is not enabled by default.
If you are seeing a desktop, I believe you’re “RDPing” to the Windows instance. This is done with the RDP protocol on port 3389.
Two different protocols and two different ports.
Workspaces doesn’t allow terminal or ssh services by default. You need to use Workspace client. You still can enable RDP or/and SSH but this is not recommended.
Workspaces is a managed desktop service. AWS is taking care of pre-build AMIs, software licenses, joining to domain, scaling etc.

I watched (binged) the A Cloud Guru course in two days and did the 6 practice exams over a week. I originally was only getting 70%’s on the exams, but continued doing them on my free time (to the point where I’d have 15 minutes and knock one out on my phone lol) and started getting 90%’s. – A mix of knowledge vs memorization tbh. Just make sure you read why your answers are wrong.
I don’t really have a huge IT background, although will note I work in a DevOps (1 1/2 years) environment; so I do use AWS to host our infrastructure. However, the exam is very high level compared to what I do/services I use. I’m fairly certain with zero knowledge/experience, someone could pass this within two weeks. AWS is also currently promoting a “get certified” challenge and is offering 50% off.
Went through the entire CloudAcademy course. Most of the info went out the other ear. Got a 67% on their final exam. Took the ExamPro free exam, got 69%.
Was going to take it last Saturday, but I bought TutorialDojo’s exams on Udemy. Did one Friday night, got a 50% and rescheduled it a week later to today Sunday.
Took 4 total TD exams. Got a 50%, 54%, 67%, and 64%. Even up until last night I hated the TD exams with a passion, I thought they were covering way too much stuff that didn’t even pop up in study guides I read. Their wording for some problems were also atrocious. But looking back, the bulk of my “studying” was going through their pretty well written explanations, and their links to the white papers allowed me to know what and where to read.
Not sure what score I got yet on the exam. As someone who always hated testing, I’m pretty proud of myself. I also had to take a dump really bad starting at around question 25. Thanks to TutorialsDojo Jon Bonso for completely destroying my confidence before the exam, forcing me to up my game. It’s better to walk in way over prepared than underprepared.
I would like to thank this community for recommendations about exam preparation. It was wayyyy easier than I expected (also way easier than TD practice exams scenario-based questions-a lot less wordy on real exam). I felt so unready before the exam that I rescheduled the exam twice. Quick tip: if you have limited time to prepare for this exam, I would recommend scheduling the exam beforehand so that you don’t procrastinate fully.

Udemy – AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Practice Exams, created by Jon Bonso**, Tutorials Dojo**
These are some good prep exams, they ask the questions in a way that actually make you think about the related AWS Service. With only a few “Bullshit! That was asked in a confusing way” questions that popped up.
I took CCP 2 days ago and got the pass notification right after submitting the answers. In about the next 3 hours I got an email from Credly for the badge. This morning I got an official email from AWS congratulating me on passing, the score is much higher than I expected. I took Stephane Maarek’s CCP course and his 6 demo exams, then Neal Davis’ 500 questions also. On all the demo exams, I took 1 fail and all passes with about 700-800. But in the real exam, I got 860. The questions in the real exam are kind of less verbose IMO, but I don’t truly agree with some people I see on this sub saying that they are easier. Just a little bit of sharing, now I’ll find something to continue ^^
Passed the exam! Spent 25 minutes answering all the questions. Another 10 to review. I might come back and update this post with my actual score.
Background
– A year of experience working with AWS (e.g., EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Route 53, and Amplify).
– Cloud development on AWS is not my strong suit. I just Google everything, so my knowledge is very spotty. Less so now since I studied for this exam.
Study stats
– Spent three weeks studying for the exam.
– Studied an hour to two every day.
– Solved 800-1000 practice questions.
– Took 450 screenshots of practice questions and technology/service descriptions as reference notes to quickly swift through on my phone and computer for review. Screenshots were of questions that I either didn’t know, knew but was iffy on, or those I believed I’d easily forget.
– Made 15-20 pages of notes. Chill. Nothing crazy. This is on A4 paper. Free-form note taking. With big diagrams. Around 60-80 words per page.
– I was getting low-to-mid 70%s on Neal Davis’s and Stephane Maarek’s practice exams. Highest score I got was an 80%.
– I got a 67(?)% on one of Stephane Maarek’s exams. The only sub-70% I ever got on any practice test. I got slightly anxious. But given how much harder Maarek’s exams are compared to the actual exam, the anxiety was undue.
– Finishing the practice exams on time was never a problem for me. I would finish all of them comfortably within 35 minutes.

The online course provides five practice exams. I did not take any of them.
**Regarding Stephane Maarek: I only took his practice exams. I did not take his study guide course.
Notes
– My study regimen (i.e., an hour to two every day for three weeks) was overkill.
– The questions on the practice exams created by Neal Davis and Stephane Maarek were significantly harder than those on the actual exam. I believe I could’ve passed without touching any of these resources.
– I retook one or two practice exams out of the 10+ I’ve taken. I don’t think there’s a need to retake the exams as long as you are diligent about studying the questions and underlying concepts you got wrong. I reviewed all the questions I missed on every practice exam the day before.
What would I do differently?
– Focus on practice tests only. No video lectures.
– Focus on the technologies domain. You can intuit your way through questions in the other domains.

Background: I am a back-end developer that works 12 hours a day for corporate America, so no time to study (or do anything) but I made it work.
Could I have probably gone for SAA first? Yeah, but I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I studied for about a month. I used Maarek’s Udemy course at 1.5x speed and I couldn’t recommend it more. I also used his practice exams. I’ll be honest, I took 5 practice exams and got somehow managed to fail every single one in the mid 60’s lol. Cleared the exam with an 800. Practice exams WAY harder.
My 2 cents on must knows:
AWS Shared Security Model (who owns what)
Everything Billing (EC2 instance, S3, different support plans)
I had a few ML questions that caught me off guard
VPC concepts – i.e. subnets, NACL, Transit Gateway
I studied solidly for two weeks, starting with Tutorials Dojo (which was recommended somewhere on here). I turned all of their vocabulary words and end of module questions into note cards. I did the same with their final assessment and one free exam.
During my second week, I studied the cards for anywhere from one to two hours a day, and I’d randomly watch videos on common exam questions.
The last thing I did was watch a 3 hr long video this morning that walks you through setting up AWS Instances. The visual of setting things up filled in a lot of holes.
I had some PSI software problems, and ended up getting started late. I was pretty dejected towards the end of the exam, and was honestly (and pleasantly) surprised to see that I passed.
Hopefully this helps someone. Keep studying and pushing through – if you know it, you know it. Even if you have a bad start. Cheers 🍻

Today, AWS announces the general availability of Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) optimized accelerated AMIs for Amazon Linux 2023 (AL2023). EKS customers can now enjoy the improved security features, optimized boot times, and newer kernel versions of AL2023 for their workloads using NVIDIA GPU, AWS Inferentia, and AWS Trainium instances. These new AMIs are based on the Amazon EKS optimized AMI for AL2023 and include support for NVIDIA and AWS Neuron workloads. The EKS Optimized NVIDIA AMI includes NVIDIA drivers, NVIDIA Fabric Manager and NVIDIA container toolkit, and the EKS Optimized Neuron AMI includes the Neuron driver. Both AMIs also come with the software needed to use AWS Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) network interfaces. Customers can choose either the NVIDIA or Neuron AMI with EKS Managed Node Groups, self-managed nodes, and Karpenter. Amazon Redshift is announcing the general availability of Multi-AZ deployments for RA3 clusters in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. Redshift Multi-AZ deployments support running your data warehouse in multiple AWS Availability Zones (AZ) simultaneously and continue operating in unforeseen failure scenarios. A Multi-AZ deployment raises the Redshift Service Level Agreement (SLA) to 99.99% and delivers a highly available data warehouse for the most demanding mission-critical workloads. Enterprise customers with mission critical workloads require a data warehouse with fast failover times and simplified operations that minimizes impact to applications. A Redshift Multi-AZ deployment helps meet these demands by reducing recovery time and automatically recovering in another AZ during an unlikely event such as an AZ failure. AWS announces End User Messaging Social, enabling developers to message their end users on WhatsApp, the world's most popular messaging app with over 2.7 billion users. With this release, developers can create rich messaging experiences on WhatsApp with multimedia content and interactive features. They can now use WhatsApp alongside End User Messaging SMS and Push notifications as part of their messaging strategy, ensuring they can communicate to their end users through the channels they prefer most. To get started, developers can create a new WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) using our self-guided onboarding or link an existing WABA to End User Messaging, all within the AWS management console. This means developers can start messaging with WhatsApp in minutes. End User Messaging Social simplifies message sending and receiving with AWS security, support, and management capabilities. Amazon Redshift's Data Sharing of data lake tables is now generally available, offering a secure and convenient way to share live data lake tables across different Amazon Redshift warehouses. Data Sharing of data lake tables in the AWS Glue Data Catalog provides live access to the data, ensuring that you always see the most up-to-date and consistent information as it is updated in the data lake. Today you can use Amazon Redshift to query your data lake but you cannot leverage the power of Redshift or Lake Formation managed data sharing with external schemas referencing your data lake tables. You have redundant effort to setup your data lake tables for each Redshift warehouse which increases your administration overhead. Now with Redshift and Lake Formation managed Data Sharing of data lake tables, you can right size the data sharing consumer compute while maintaining seamless access to the data lake tables without needing to recreate any table or view definitions. You can use SQL or the Redshift console to securely share data at various levels, including, tables and views. Data Sharing of data lake tables in the AWS Glue Data Catalog is available in all regions where Redshift Serverless and Provisioned RA3 node types are available. Today, we are announcing the availability of AWS Backup in the Asia Pacific (Malaysia) Region. AWS Backup is a fully-managed, policy-driven service that allows you to centrally automate data protection across multiple AWS services spanning compute, storage, and databases. Using AWS Backup, you can centrally create and manage backups of your application data, protect your data from inadvertent or malicious actions with immutable recovery points and vaults, and restore your data in the event of a data loss incident. AWS Resource Explorer customers can now list all AWS resources indexed by Resource Explorer across Services, AWS Regions, and AWS accounts. Customers use Resource Explorer to search for supported AWS resources using keywords and search operators to return up to 1,000 relevancy-ranked results. Starting today, customers can use the same familiar search operators to list and paginate through all matching results with Resource Explorer’s new ListResources API. AWS Elemental MediaPackage is now available in the Middle East (UAE) and Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) regions, enabling users to configure and operate MediaPackage using the console or API endpoints in these regions. AWS Elemental MediaPackage is a video origination and just-in-time packaging service that allows video distributors to securely and reliably deliver live streaming or on-demand content at scale. From a single video input, MediaPackage creates video streams formatted to play on connected TVs, mobile phones, computers, tablets, and game consoles. It makes it easy to implement popular video features commonly found on DVRs, such as start-over, pause, and rewind. The service can also protect your content using Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies. MediaPackage functions independently or as part of AWS Elemental Media Services, a family of services that form the foundation of cloud-based video workflows and offer the capabilities you need to create, package, and deliver video. Amazon Connect Contact Lens dashboards now include the ability to color code metric performance, customize service level thresholds, and switch metrics within widgets. With these dashboards, you can view and compare real-time and historical aggregated performance, trends, and insights using custom-defined time periods (e.g., week over week), summary charts, time-series chart, etc. You can further customize the dashboards by changing the metrics you want to monitor, as well as color code metric performance based on custom defined thresholds. For example, you can automatically show service level as red if it dips below 70%, yellow if its between 70-90%, and green if its greater than 90% to give a quick visual indicator on how service level is performing. AWS Network Load Balancer (NLB) now supports Amazon Application Recovery Controller’s zonal shift and zonal autoshift features on load balancers that are enabled across zones. Zonal shift allows you to quickly shift traffic away from an impaired Availability Zone (AZ) and recover from events such as bad application deployment and gray failures. Zonal autoshift safely and automatically shifts your traffic away from an AZ when AWS identifies potential impact to it. Enabling cross-zone on NLBs is a popular configuration for customers that require an even distribution of traffic across application targets in multiple AZs. With this launch, customers can shift traffic away from an AZ in the event of a failure just like they are able to for cross-zone disabled load balancers. When zonal shift or autoshift is triggered, the NLB will block all traffic to targets in the AZ that is impacted. You can configure this feature in two steps: First, enable configuration to allow zonal shift to act on your load balancer(s) using the NLB console or API. Second, trigger zonal shift or enable zonal autoshift for the chosen NLBs via Amazon Application Recovery Controller console or API. Amazon CloudFront now supports JA4 fingerprinting of incoming requests, enabling customers to allow known clients or block requests from malicious clients. The JA4 fingerprint is passed via the Cloudfront-viewer-ja4-fingerprint header. You can inspect the JA4 fingerprints using custom logic on your application web servers or using CloudFront Functions or Lambda@Edge. A JA4 TLS client fingerprint contains a 38-character long fingerprint of the TLS Client Hello which is used to initiate a secure connection from clients. The fingerprint can be used to build a database of known good and bad actors to apply when inspecting HTTP requests. You can add the Cloudfront-viewer-ja4-fingerprint header to an origin request policy and attach the policy to your CloudFront distributions. You can then inspect the header value on your application web servers or in your Lambda@Edge and CloudFront Functions to compare the header value against a list of known malware fingerprints to block malicious clients. You can also compare the header value against a list of expected fingerprints to allow only requests bearing the expected fingerprints. Cloudfront-viewer-ja4-fingerprint headers are available for immediate use in all CloudFront edge locations. You can enable JA4 fingerprint headers in the CloudFront Console or using the AWS SDK. Today, AWS Thinkbox releases Deadline 10.4 with support for Autodesk 3dsMax 2025, Autodesk Maya 2025, and SideFX Houdini 20.5, a new plugin to support Houdini exports to Karma 20.0, and security and configuration changes in Deadline. The .NET Software Development Kit (SDK) has been updated to 8.0.302, and Deadline installs MongoDB version 6.0.16 by default, with support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9, including Rocky and Alma. Additionally, machine-wide permissions now require user-specific configurations to be saved in user-level folders, enhancing security. Deadline 10.4 expands its platform support for RHEL 9, including Rocky Linux and AlmaLinux, providing more flexibility in how you deploy and manage render farms. Whether you are adopting these new platforms or upgrading existing infrastructure, you can now integrate Deadline without compatibility concerns, allowing you to optimize your workflows effectively. Security improvements in machine-wide permissions help isolate critical settings, reducing the risk of accidental or malicious changes. By shifting most user-driven configuration to the user-specific Deadline.ini file, individual users can customize their experience without compromising system-wide defaults. This also simplifies management, especially in multi-user environments. Amazon Redshift introduces a unique identifier assigned to SQL queries, which lets you effectively track query performance over time and identify recurring patterns in resource-intensive queries. This new feature, called a 'query hash', uniquely identifies SQL queries based on their textual representation and predicate values. Query hash is a unique query signature that is generated for executed queries on a data warehouse. With query hash, you can investigate query performance by either performing trend analysis of queries over a period of time or comparing performance for a query across different time periods. This feature adds two new columns to SYS_QUERY_HISTORY view: user_query_hash, a hash with query literals, and generic_query_hash, the hash without query literals. Amazon Redshift query hash is now generally available for both Amazon Redshift provisioned clusters and Amazon Redshift Serverless data warehouses in all AWS commercial and the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions where Amazon Redshift is available. AWS is announcing the general availability of Console to Code, powered by Amazon Q Developer. Console to Code makes it simple, fast, and cost-effective to move from prototyping in the AWS Management Console to building code for production deployments. Customers can generate code for their console actions in their preferred format with a single click. The generated code helps customers get started and bootstrap their automation pipelines for tasks. Console to Code makes it easy to convert actions performed in the console into reusable code, using the language of your choice. Customers use the AWS Management Console to learn and prototype cloud solutions, and using Console to code they can automatically capture those actions, and generate code for them. Console to Code provides code in CLI, Cloudformation and CDK formats. CLI code is recorded as customers take actions in console and replicates underlying AWS best practices. Customers can also generate CDK and Cloudformation code using Amazon Q Developer GenAI capability. This code follows AWS guided best practices to perform reliable deployments. Amazon Polly is a managed service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk and to build speech-enabled products depending on your business needs. The generative engine is Amazon Polly's most advanced text-to-speech (TTS) model. With this launch, we add a variety of new synthetic generative English voices to Polly portfolio: i.e., an Australian English voice Olivia, and three US English voices Joanna, Danielle, and Stephen. These voices sound similar to our neural voices with the same names, but they have much more natural pronunciation and prosody. Our customers can use this high-tier product in various industries and for different purposes: e.g., education, publishing, marketing, etc. Danielle, Joanna, Olivia, and Stephen generative voices are accessible in the US East (North Virginia), Europe (Frankfurt), and US West (Oregon) regions and complement the other types of voices that are already available in the same regions. The Amazon EventBridge Schema Registry and Schema Discovery service is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West) Regions, allowing you to discover and store event structure - or schema - in a shared, central location. You can download code bindings for those schemas for Java, Python, Typescript, and Golang so it’s easier to use events as objects in your code. The Schema Discovery and Schema Registry features are integrated with the Amazon EventBridge Event Bus, which enables you to create scalable event-driven applications by routing events between your own applications, third-party SaaS applications, and other AWS services. While event buses decouple your event sources and event targets, letting your teams act more independently, the Schema Registry enables your teams to share the structures of the events they are publishing so that other teams can discover and create integrations incorporating their events. You can have the Schema Registry centrally store schemas by adding them to the registry yourself or by turning on the Schema Discovery feature to automatically discover and store schemas from events sent to an event bus. By generating code bindings, you can interact with the event as an object in your code, using your preferred IDE to take advantage of features like code validation and auto-completion. Model Evaluation on Amazon Bedrock allows you to evaluate, compare, and select the best foundation models for your use case. Amazon Bedrock offers a choice of automatic evaluation and human evaluation. You can use automatic evaluation with predefined algorithms for metrics such as accuracy, robustness, and toxicity. Additionally, for those metrics or subjective and custom metrics, such as friendliness, style, and alignment to brand voice, you can set up a human evaluation workflow with a few clicks. Human evaluation workflows can leverage your own employees or an AWS-managed team as reviewers. Model evaluation provides built-in curated datasets or you can bring your own datasets. Now, customers can evaluate their own custom fine-tuned models from fine-tuning and continued pretraining jobs on Amazon Bedrock. This allows customers to complete the cycle of selecting a base model, customizing it, evaluating it, and customizing it again if needed or continuing to production if they are satisfied with its evaluation outcome. To evaluate a custom model, simply select the custom model from the list of models to evaluate in the model selector tool when creating an evaluation job. Model Evaluation on Amazon Bedrock is now Generally Available in these commercial regions and the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. Amazon Connect Chat now supports using your customer's initial message in flows, enabling you to improve self-service containment rates and personalize the customer experience. You can use the initial chat message to display the right step-by-step guide, trigger interactive messages from Amazon Lex (e.g., list pickers, carousels), or route the chat to the best agent. For example, if the initial message is about an order issue, you can immediately show the customer a list pickers of recent orders. Alternatively, if the message is about rescheduling a delivery, you can present date and time pickers to help them make the change. To use the customer's initial message with Amazon Lex, simply check the 'Initialize bot with message' option in the 'Get customer input' block within Amazon Connect's flow designer. Additionally, you can access the customer's initial message using the InitialMessage flow attribute for branching flows or integrations using AWS Lambda. This new feature is available in all AWS regions where Amazon Connect is available. AWS CodePipeline introduces a simplified and new getting started experience to enable you to quickly create new pipelines. When you create a new pipeline using the CodePipeline console, you can now select from a list of pipeline templates across Build, Automation, and Deployment use cases. After selecting a pipeline template, you will be prompted to enter values for the action configuration fields in the pipeline definition, and completing the process will render a fully configured pipeline that is ready to run. Amazon EventBridge Archive and Replay is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West) Regions, making event-driven applications more durable and extensible by providing an easier way to replay past events. Archive and Replay enables you to build applications that can more easily recover from errors and also allows you to more easily validate new functionality in your applications. The Archive and Replay feature is integrated with the Amazon EventBridge Event Bus, which enables you to create scalable event-driven applications by routing events between your own applications, third-party SaaS applications, and other AWS services. You can set up routing rules on the event bus to determine where to send your events, allowing for application architectures to react to changes in your systems as they occur. Event buses make it easier to build event-driven applications by facilitating event ingestion, delivery, security, authorization, and error handling. Lambda recursive loop detection can now automatically detect and stop recursive loops between AWS Lambda and Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). Lambda recursive loop detection, which is enabled by default, is a preventative guardrail that automatically detects and stops recursive invocations between Lambda and other supported services, preventing unintended usage and billing from runaway workloads. Customers commonly use Amazon S3 as an event source to trigger Lambda functions. Customer misconfiguration or code defect can cause processed events to be sent back to the same Amazon S3 bucket that invoked the Lambda function, causing unintended recursive loops. Now, Lambda will automatically detect and stop such recursive loops and send customers an AWS Health Dashboard notification with troubleshooting steps. S3 support for recursive loop detection is available in all regions where Lambda recursive loop detection is available. If your function uses intentional recursive loops, you can use the PutFunctionRecursionConfig API to turn off recursive loop detection. With ElastiCache Serverless for Valkey, customers can create a cache in under a minute and get started as low as $6/month. Valkey is an open source, high performance, key-value datastore stewarded by Linux Foundation. It is a drop in replacement of Redis OSS, backed by 40+ companies with rapid adoption since project inception in March 2024. Hundreds of thousands of customers use ElastiCache to improve their database and application performance and optimize costs. ElastiCache for Valkey provides a fully managed experience built on open-source technology while leveraging the security, operational excellence, 99.99% availability, and reliability from AWS. It is ideal for use cases such as caching, leaderboards, and session stores. It is a drop in replacement of Redis OSS. Valkey is backed by 40+ companies and has seen rapid adoption since the project was created in March 2024. Amazon MemoryDB is a fully managed, Valkey- and Redis OSS-compatible database service, which provides multi-AZ durability, microsecond read and single-digit millisecond write latency, and high throughput. AWS Marketplace announces the general availability of a new procurement insights dashboard, helping you manage your organization’s renewals and optimize your AWS Marketplace spend. The new dashboard gives you detailed visibility into your organization’s AWS Marketplace agreements and associated spend across the AWS accounts in your organization. The procurement insights dashboard identifies contracts nearing their end of term, enabling you to proactively address upcoming renewals. The comprehensive view of your organization's AWS Marketplace agreements allows you to identify consolidation opportunities across teams. You can gain a deeper understanding of your organization's AWS Marketplace spend, as it offers insights into historical spend by offer type, subscriber ID, solution provider, and more. You can also embed the dashboard within other tools using an API. The procurement insights dashboard and API are available in all AWS Regions where the AWS Marketplace console is available. Today, AWS announces support for resubmitting your Deadline Cloud jobs, via API, CLI, and within the Deadline Cloud monitor, so you can easily run jobs again with updated parameters. AWS Deadline Cloud is a fully managed service that simplifies render management for teams creating computer-generated 2D/3D graphics and visual effects for films, TV shows, commercials, games, and industrial design. Resubmitting jobs makes it easy to run the same job with updated parameters. For example, you can submit a job to render a subset of testing frames, verify their output, then run the job again with the full frame range. Amazon OpenSearch Serverless has recently introduced a suite of new features and enhancements that enable faster indexing, improved search performance, and expanded analytical capabilities. The updates include the introduction of a flat object data type, which allows for more efficient storage and searching of nested data. OpenSearch Serverless now supports enhanced geospatial features, providing users with the ability to uncover valuable insights from location-based data. OpenSearch Serverless has also expanded its field types, including support for unsigned long, and doc count mapper. The new multi-term aggregation feature enables you to perform complex aggregations, and gain deeper insights into your data. Furthermore, OpenSearch Serverless has also seen significant reduction in indexing latencies and faster ascending/descending search sorts, improving the overall efficiency and performance. These new features for OpenSearch Serverless are automatically enabled for all collections and is now available in 14 regions globally: US East (Ohio), US East (N. Amazon Q in Connect, a generative-AI powered assistant for contact center agents, now recommends personalized guidance to agents using customer data from Amazon Connect and other third-party CRM systems. Amazon Q in Connect detects the customer's intent from the real-time voice or chat conversation and understands customer data to recommend what an agent should say or what action they should take. For example, when a customer contacts a hotel to upgrade their room, Amazon Q in Connect analyzes the real-time conversation, identifies the customer's loyalty tier, and provides the agent with a step-by-step guide of upgrade options and discounts to offer the customer. With Amazon Q in Connect, contact centers can empower agents to provide a more personalized and efficient customer interaction while driving increased customer satisfaction. The Mountpoint for Amazon S3 Container Storage Interface (CSI) driver now supports configuring distinct AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles for individual Kubernetes pods. Built on Mountpoint for Amazon S3, the CSI driver presents an S3 bucket as a volume accessible by containers in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) and self-managed Kubernetes clusters. Now, you can use IAM roles for each pod to restrict access to specific buckets or objects, without making changes to your applications. Previously, you could configure an IAM role that the CSI driver used for all pods in your Kubernetes cluster. With this launch, you can further strengthen your application security when building multi-tenant environments by configuring the CSI driver to use individual IAM roles for each pod that attaches a volume. This means that you can run data-intensive jobs, like machine learning or media transcoding, across multiple pods while allowing each pod to access only the data it needs, providing data isolation between pods as a result. Amazon EKS supports the Mountpoint for Amazon S3 CSI driver as an EKS add-on. You can install, configure, and update the CSI driver with just a few clicks in the Amazon EKS console, AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI), EKS Application Programming Interface (API), and AWS CloudFormation. Amazon Q in Connect, a generative-AI powered assistant for contact center agents, now enables contact center supervisors to pre-configure LLM prompts to match your company's brand and business guidelines. Supervisors can tailor prompts to change Amazon Q in Connect's tone and behavior to incorporate specific company phrases, follow language guidelines, and designate certain "fixed" responses for situations requiring absolute consistency. For example, when a customer contacts a healthcare insurance provider, Amazon Q in Connect can be customized to be sensitive for use cases such as denied claim. Agents using step-by-step guides for the claim appeals process will be provided empathetic phrasing and automated disclaimers for different types of medical advice. With Amazon Q in Connect, contact centers can empower agents to consistently represent the company's brand, reduce compliance risks, and increase customer satisfaction. This connector makes it easy to synchronize data from your Smartsheet instance with your Amazon Q index. When implemented, your employees can use Amazon Q Business to query their intelligent assistant on information about their Smartsheet projects and tasks. Amazon Q Business is a generative AI–powered assistant that can answer questions, provide summaries, generate content, and securely complete tasks based on data and information in your enterprise systems. It empowers employees to be more creative, data-driven, efficient, prepared, and productive. The over 40 connectors supported by Q Business can be scheduled to automatically sync your index with your selected data sources, so you're always securely searching through the most up-to-date content. AWS Outposts is now supported in the AWS Europe (Spain) Region. Outposts is a fully managed service that offers the same AWS infrastructure, AWS services, APIs, and tools to virtually any on-premises or edge location for a truly consistent hybrid experience. Organizations from startups to enterprises and the public sector in and outside of Spain can now connect their Outposts to this Region. Outposts allows customers to run workloads that need low latency access to on-premises systems locally while connecting back to their home Region for application management. Customers can also use Outposts and AWS services to manage and process data that needs to remain on-premises to meet data residency requirements. AWS Security Hub has released 7 new security controls, increasing the total number of controls offered to 430. Security Hub now supports controls for new resource types, such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) Multi-Region Access Points and Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) Connect. Security Hub also released new control for Amazon GuardDuty EKS Runtime Monitoring. For the full list of recently released controls and the AWS Regions in which they are available, visit the Security Hub user guide. To use the new controls, turn on the standard they belong to. Security Hub will then start evaluating your security posture and monitoring your resources for the relevant security controls. You can use central configuration to do so across all your organization accounts and linked Regions with a single action. If you are already using the relevant standards and have Security Hub configured to automatically enable new controls, these new controls will run without taking any additional action. Amazon Connect now supports copying of agent schedules across multiple days, making management of agent schedules more efficient. You can now copy multiple days shifts from one agent to another agent or to the same agent, up to 14 days at a time. For example, if a new agent joins the team mid-month, you can quickly provide them with a schedule by copying up to 14 days of shifts from an existing agent’s schedule. Similarly, if an agent has a flexible working arrangement for a few weeks, you can edit their schedule for the first week and then copy it over to remaining weeks. Multi-day copy of agent schedules improves manager productivity by reducing time spent on managing agent schedules. Today, AWS Partner Central has enhanced the APN Customer Engagements (ACE) Pipeline Manager by allowing AWS partners to link an AWS Marketplace private offer to a launched opportunity. This feature gives AWS partners improved visibility into their AWS Marketplace transactions. By linking AWS Marketplace private offers to opportunities, partners can track deals from their co-selling pipeline all the way to customer offers. Additionally, partners can view their agreement information, such as agreement ID and creation date, in ACE Pipeline Manager, connected to the original customer opportunity. Starting today, this feature is available globally for all AWS Partners who have linked their AWS Partner Central and AWS Marketplace accounts. Amazon SageMaker JumpStart is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. Public sector customers can easily deploy and fine-tune open-weight models through the SageMaker Python SDK. Amazon SageMaker JumpStart is a machine learning (ML) hub that offers hundreds of pre-trained models and built-in algorithms to help you quickly get started with ML. Customers can discover hundreds of open-weight pre-trained models such as Llama and Mistral stored in the AWS infrastructure, fine-tune with their own data, and deploy for cost effective inferencing using SageMaker Python SDK. Amazon SageMaker JumpStart is now Generally Available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West and US-East) Regions. Please note that some models require instances not yet available in GovCloud regions and will be usable after instances become available. AWS Application Composer is now called AWS Infrastructure Composer. The new name emphasizes our capabilities in building infrastructure architectures. Since launching at re:Invent ’22, customers have told us how Application Composer has helped accelerate their serverless application architecture design with Application Composer’s simple drag-and-drop interface. Since the initial release, we have expanded our support to any CloudFormation resource, empowering customers to build any required resource architecture. The new AWS Infrastructure Composer name reflects our focus to help customers build any infrastructure with CloudFormation. AWS Infrastructure Composer is available in all commercial regions and the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
Amazon Connect Contact Lens now allows users to save and publish reports and dashboards as read-only. By publishing a report as read-only, only the user who created the report or dashboard can edit the report, while still making it visible for others to view or create a copy. For example, a contact center manager can configure a custom read-only dashboard and share it with the supervisors on their team to ensure they monitor the same metrics, while still allowing the supervisors to customize and save their own versions for further analysis. Amazon Connect can now generate forecasts for smaller workloads, with as little as one contact, making it easier for contact center managers to predict demand. This eliminates the need for you to manually adjust historical data to meet minimum data requirements. By reducing minimum data requirements, you can now enable managers to generate forecasts for smaller volume workloads than were previously possible, making it easier to do capacity planning and staffing. Amazon WorkSpaces is launching support for transferring files between a WorkSpaces Personal session and a local computer. This helps customers to manage and share files seamlessly, increasing their productivity. This is supported on personal WorkSpaces that use the DCV streaming protocol when using the Windows, Linux client applications or web access. With this launch, users can streamline their workflows and have easier ways to organize, manage, edit, and share files across their devices and platforms. The files on the WorkSpaces will be saved in a persistent storage folder. Amazon WorkSpaces also offers robust security measures, and administrators can control whether users can upload or download files from WorkSpaces to protect the data security of your organization. This functionality is now available in all the AWS Regions where Amazon WorkSpaces Personal is available. There are no additional WorkSpaces costs for using the file transfer functionality. However, the files uploaded consume user volume that is attached to the WorkSpaces. Customers can increase the size of the user volumes attached to WorkSpaces at any time. Changing the volume size of a WorkSpace will effect the billing rate. See Amazon WorkSpaces pricing for more information. AWS CodePipeline introduces the Commands action that enables you to easily run shell commands as part of your pipeline execution. With the Commands action, you will have access to a secure compute environment backed by CodeBuild to run AWS CLI, third-party tools, or any shell commands. The Commands action runs CodeBuild managed on-demand EC2 compute, and uses an Amazon Linux 2023 standard 5.0 image. Previously, if you wanted to run AWS CLI commands, third-party CLI commands, or simply invoke an API, you had to create a CodeBuild project, configure the project with the appropriate commands, and add a CodeBuild action to your pipeline to run the project. Now, you can simply add the Commands action to your pipeline, and define one or more commands as part of the action configuration. Since Commands is like any other CodePipeline action, you can use the standard CodePipeline features of input / output artifacts and output variables. Amazon EC2 now allows customers to modify an instance’s CPU options after launch. You can now modify the number of vCPUs and/or disable the hyperthreading of a stopped EC2 instance to save on vCPU-based licensing costs. In addition, an instance’s CPU options are now maintained when changing its instance type. The Optimize CPUs feature allows customers to disable hyperthreading and reduce the number of vCPUs on an instance, resulting in a high memory to vCPU ratio helping customers save the vCPU-based licensing costs. This is particularly beneficial to customers who Bring-Your-Own-license (BYOL) for commercial database workloads, like Microsoft SQL Server.

Starting today, you can provide Server Name Indication (SNI) with Route 53 Resolver endpoints for DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), allowing you to specify the target server hostname for DNS query requests from your outbound endpoints to DoH servers that require SNI for TLS validation. DoH on Amazon Route 53 Resolver endpoints allows you to encrypt DNS queries that pass through the endpoints and improve privacy by minimizing the visibility of the information exchanged through the queries. With this launch, you can now specify the hostname with your outbound endpoint configuration to perform TLS handshakes for your DNS requests from the outbound endpoints to the DoH server. Enabling SNI validation for your DoH Resolver endpoints also helps you meet regulatory and business compliance requirements, such as those described in the memorandum of the US Office of Management and Budget, where outbound DNS traffic must be be addressed to Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Protective DNS that require SNI hostname validation for a successful TLS handshake. Resolver endpoints support for DoH with SNI is available in all Regions where Route 53 is available, including the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. Today, AWS IoT Core announces three new capabilities for domain configurations. Devices no longer need to rely on Transport Layer Security (TLS) Application Layer Protocol Negotiation (ALPN) extension to determine authentication type and protocol. Furthermore, developers can add additional X.509 client certificates validation to custom authentication workflow. Previously, devices selected authentication type by connecting to a defined port and providing TLS ALPN with chosen protocol. The new capability to configure authentication type and protocol purely based on the TLS Server Name Indication (SNI) extension makes it simpler to connect devices to the cloud without requiring TLS ALPN. This enables developers to migrate existing device fleets to AWS IoT Core without firmware updates or Amazon-specific TLS ALPN strings. The authentication type and protocol combination will be assigned to an endpoint for all supported TCP ports of this custom domain. Building on the above-mentioned feature, AWS IoT Core added two additional authentication capabilities. Custom Authentication with X.509 Client Certificates allows customers to authenticate IoT devices using X.509 certificates and then add custom authentication logics as an additional layer of security check. Secondly, Custom Client Certificate Validation allows customers to validate X.509 client certificate based on a custom Lambda function. For example, developers can build custom certificate revocation checks, such as, Online Certificate Status Protocol and Certificate Revocation List, before allowing a client to connect. All three capabilities are available in all AWS regions where AWS IoT Core is present, except AWS GovCloud (US). Visit the developer guide to learn more about this feature.
AWS B2B Data Interchange now supports outbound EDI transformation, enabling you to generate X12 EDI documents from JSON or XML data inputs. This new capability adds to B2B Data Interchange’s existing support for transforming inbound EDI documents and automatically generating EDI acknowledgements. With the ability to transform and generate X12 EDI documents up to 150 MB, you can now automate your bidirectional EDI workflows at scale on AWS. The introduction of outbound EDI transformation establishes B2B Data Interchange as a comprehensive EDI service for conducting end-to-end transactions with your business partners. For example, healthcare payers can now process claims with claim payments, suppliers can confirm purchase orders with invoices, and logistics providers can respond to shipment requests with status notifications. B2B Data Interchange monitors specified prefixes in Amazon S3 to automatically process inbound and outbound EDI. Each outbound EDI document generated emits an Amazon EventBridge event which can be used to automatically send the documents to your business partners using AWS Transfer Family’s SFTP and AS2 capabilities, or any other EDI connectivity solution. Support for generating outbound X12 EDI is available in all AWS Regions where AWS B2B Data Interchange is available. AWS Compute Optimizer now supports 80 additional Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instance types. The newly supported instance types include the latest generation compute optimized instances (c7i-flex, c6id, c8g), memory optimized instances (r8g, x8g), storage optimized instances (i4i), and GPU-based instances (g5, g5g, g6, gr6, p4d, p4de, p5). This expands the total EC2 instance types supported by Compute Optimizer to 779. By including support for the latest instance types that have improved price to performance ratios, Compute Optimizer helps customers identify additional savings opportunities and performance improvement opportunities. The newly supported c8g, r8g, and x8g EC2 instance types include the new AWS Graviton4 processors that offer 50% more cores, 160% more memory bandwidth, and up to 60% better performance than AWS Graviton2 processors. The C7i-flex instances powered by the 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable custom processors (Sapphire Rapids) offer 5% better price/performance compared to c7i instances. With this launch, AWS Cloud WAN and AWS Network Manager are now available in AWS Asia Pacific (Melbourne, Hyderabad), AWS Europe (Spain, Zurich), AWS Middle East (UAE) Region and AWS Canada West (Calgary) Regions. Additionally, AWS Cloud WAN is available in AWS Israel (Tel Aviv) Region. With AWS Cloud WAN, you can use a central dashboard and network policies to create a global network that spans multiple locations and networks, allowing you to configure and manage different networks using the same technology. You can use your network policies to specify which of your Amazon Virtual Private Clouds, AWS Transit Gateways, and on-premises locations you want to connect to by using an AWS Site-to-Site VPN, AWS Direct Connect, or third-party software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) products. The Cloud WAN central dashboard, powered by AWS Network Manager, generates a complete view of the network to help you monitor network health, security, and performance. AWS Network Manager reduces the operational complexity of managing global networks across AWS and on-premises locations. It provides a single global view of your private network. You can visualize your global network in a topology diagram and monitor your network using CloudWatch Metrics and events for network topology changes, routing updates, and connection status updates.
