n the trailer the Queen/Bassett says her entire family is dead. It also shows Lupita giving birth to T’Challa’s child.
So, the Atlanteans attack. Shuri is killed in her attempt to take the BP mantle and defend Wakandan, or maybe captured and presumed dead. Then Nakia gives birth. Somehow a heart shaped herb is found and given to her, she is powered up and quickly recovers from giving birth (she may even take it while pregnant because she is seriously injured in the Atlantean attack.) Nakia becomes BP and queen regent. She fights Namor, and maybe also rescues Shuri.

What TV show was amazing at first but became unwatchable for you later on?
Heroes
Season 1 was great and fresh. Season 2 didn’t know what to do with itself and just started giving everyone super powers.
By Season 3, characters were just changing motivations at the drop of a hat and it was just a huge mess of bad writing.
The blacklist, so many loopholes and a never ending plot. I mean, the female hero (forgot her name) was wanted and had her pictures broadcast nationwide live, but a couple of weeks after she can do undercover work.
Not the worst offender, but That 70’s Show tanked pretty hard once Eric left. He was sorely needed to make the chemistry of the group work.
Once Upon a Time. The first 3 seasons were good! And then after that they just kept getting worse

What are movies where the final line of dialogue is the title of the movie?
I was watching Chinatown last night (great movie, btw!) and got to the final scene already knowing what the last line is, cause it’s famous and all, but only then clicked that the last word spoken is the title of the movie. (I know you can hear some cops sorta talking in the background as the camera pans out but I don’t think anyone would say that is the final dialogue in the movie).Anyway, got me thinking, what are some other movies like this? How strong is Black Noir in The Boys?
I’d argue he’s the second most powerful member of The Seven
(Note, I’m doing TV Show Black Noir)
Black Noir is my favorite character in The Boys only second to Stormfront (cause she’s hot). So I always wanted to publicly share where I scale Noir, but before I do this, I have to share a few stuff stuff.
- The Boys Presents Diabolical is mostly canon, specifically episodes 6,7 and 8.
That’s really all, now sit back and enjoy (or dislike) this answer.
- Section 1: AP
Black Noir’s AP feat-wise isn’t too impressive since his speed is the real deal, but he’s still no joke since he’s able to fight and defeat Kimiko in a battle.
(I consider this fight to be an outlier since Black Noir should be faster than her, but it doesn’t change the fight since Black Noir is stronger)
And keep in mind this is the same Kimiko that survived attacks from A-Train
And even reacted to A Train while he was going fast
This says a lot since she was badly damaged while fighting Noir (Had to use her self healing to survive), and she didn’t even get harmed that much while fighting A-Train since she got back up a few seconds later.
And he has shown himself to be much stronger than Starlight in multiple instances

This is the same Starlight that survived an attack from Stormfront (Same with Kimiko)
And Starlight tanked a Serbu BFG 50A with no injury
So already Noir scales above Kimiko and Starlight and scales above A Train due to a better performance aganist Kimiko, you could also argue his AP being at least on par with Maeve due to the tree nut scene and her deciding to use tree nuts instead of fighting him.
But it’s an iffy argument, doesn’t really matter though cause I think Noir beats her regardless.
- Section 2: Speed
My favorite section yet.
Noir is stated to be much faster than a car
Not too impressive but this is just the start.
Black Noir was consistently able to dodge Homelander’s beams
And dodged Homelander himself
I made an answer as to why Homelander is Hypersonic+ at least and his lasers are faster, check it out
Homelander is narratively potrayed to be the most powerful being in The Boys and should be the fastest
Not only that but Black Noir is consistently able to counter Homelander’s beams with his knives and is fast enough to throw them

No one in The Boys has shown a good speed feat like Black Noir just for this (excluding Homelander) not even A Train has shown anything like this.
- Section 3: Durability
Doesn’t show too much but he’s able to tank a bomb from Naqib
With minor injuries to him
And tanked explosions previously as well

Not too much but he’s great at Martial Arts, Stealth, Weapons, etc. He’s basically Batman

"Amadeus" is such a stellar film about a stellar of a legendary composer. An absolute favorite of mine. What I appreciate the most about it is that music is just as much as a protagonist as Mozart and Salieri. The people who wrote and made the movie had such a profound understanding of Mozart's music, and of classical music as a whole. It's a love letter to classical music. Each piece was chosen carefully to enhance the scene. Each has a purpose, a pulsating soul. Together with stunning visuals and fascinating acting (even the minor characters like Kapellmeister Giuseppe Bonno are just so memorable), it creates a continuous stream of lovely vignettes of various colors and emotions. And the love of music is just.. infectious.. I read that the movie's original release boosted record sales of classical music in both the Eastern (notably Japan) and Western worlds. Even those who weren't educated in music fell in love with its irresistible charm. Mozart and Beethoven are both two of my favorite composers. Beethoven being more "personal" in so many ways. I first watched "Immortal Beloved" as a kid, and was let down that it didn't evoke the same feelings "Amadeus" did. Today I've decided to give it another chance.. especially since Gary Oldman seems like such an impeccable casting choice. And he did prove himself by dedicating tremendous efforts: practicing the piano vigorously and doing enough research to get into Beethoven's psyche. But sadly it was probably a bigger letdown the second time around. My biggest 2 gripes: Beethoven's music has taken a backseat. The movie isn't about Beethoven's music which was nothing less than revolutionary. So much so that a movie about nothing but that would be probably be days long. The filmmakers clearly wanted to follow the footsteps of "Amadeus". But instead of having meticulous choices of music that fit the scene, they shoe-horned most of Beethoven's "greatest hits" in a rather cringeworthy way. Pretty much all the pieces used were the ones you've heard countless times in a wrong setting (ads, inside an elevator, hold music). More like obligatory box-ticking than a genuine understanding of the nuances of his genius.. while Beethoven has an enormous canon of gems that is mostly uncharted territory for non-classical music listeners, music that rocks or shatters one's world. Could have been a great chance to introduce them to the public (the “Emperor” is breathtaking of course. But personally I feel like "The assassination of Richard Nixon did a better job weaving it into its emotional core) And often the music just sounded wrong. For instance, they could've synced Karl's gunshot with the background music. We never got the pleasure of peeking into Beethoven's world as a performer nor as a composer (only rather briefly as a conductor). Everything was kinda glossed over. What a waste. The absurd premise of the movie. Of the infinitely fascinating things about Beethoven that could be in the movie, they chose his (fictional) love life. Beethoven's been whittled down to a caricature. And Schindler, who practically carried the whole movie, the actor of whom I regret to say is utterly uninteresting (Maestro was right, he WAS a bit of a bore lol). Lots of the acting in the movie is ham-fisted, subpar. "Amadeus" is often criticized for weaving fiction into its storyline. But it served a purpose, a powerful poetic narrative. "Immortal beloved" has so much fiction that it takes you out of the movie. There wasn't much of a decent story to begin with, fiction or not. There are tons of smaller things but I digress. Sincerely, sincerely hope that there will be filmmakers who truly understand Beethoven and his music who will dedicate a much-needed tribute film to him. submitted by /u/michelQDimples [link] [comments]

Sometimes a movie is not actually bad. It just gets sold like a completely different kind of movie, so people walk in expecting one thing and leave angry at the wrong problem. For me, Jennifer’s Body is a big one. If it had been sold more honestly, I think a lot more people would have met the movie where it actually was instead of blaming it for not being the movie the trailer promised.
