n the trailer the Queen/Bassett says her entire family is dead. It also shows Lupita giving birth to T’Challa’s child.
So, the Atlanteans attack. Shuri is killed in her attempt to take the BP mantle and defend Wakandan, or maybe captured and presumed dead. Then Nakia gives birth. Somehow a heart shaped herb is found and given to her, she is powered up and quickly recovers from giving birth (she may even take it while pregnant because she is seriously injured in the Atlantean attack.) Nakia becomes BP and queen regent. She fights Namor, and maybe also rescues Shuri.
Something like that.

What TV show was amazing at first but became unwatchable for you later on?
Heroes
Season 1 was great and fresh. Season 2 didn’t know what to do with itself and just started giving everyone super powers.
By Season 3, characters were just changing motivations at the drop of a hat and it was just a huge mess of bad writing.
The blacklist, so many loopholes and a never ending plot. I mean, the female hero (forgot her name) was wanted and had her pictures broadcast nationwide live, but a couple of weeks after she can do undercover work.
Not the worst offender, but That 70’s Show tanked pretty hard once Eric left. He was sorely needed to make the chemistry of the group work.
Once Upon a Time. The first 3 seasons were good! And then after that they just kept getting worse

2- Perfection
3- “I am Iron Man“

6- “Say that again”
7- “It’s Fantastic”
8- “Guys, I think I’ve got it”
9- Fant4stic
10- I told my wife about my dinner with Andre“
11- Queen’s Boulevard
12- “By the end of that summer of ’59, we truly were a Fellowship of the Ring.”
13- Mystery men ends with a reporter asking “who are these Mystery men?”

How strong is Black Noir in The Boys?
I’d argue he’s the second most powerful member of The Seven
(Note, I’m doing TV Show Black Noir)
Black Noir is my favorite character in The Boys only second to Stormfront (cause she’s hot). So I always wanted to publicly share where I scale Noir, but before I do this, I have to share a few stuff stuff.
- The Boys Presents Diabolical is mostly canon, specifically episodes 6,7 and 8.
That’s really all, now sit back and enjoy (or dislike) this answer.
- Section 1: AP
Black Noir’s AP feat-wise isn’t too impressive since his speed is the real deal, but he’s still no joke since he’s able to fight and defeat Kimiko in a battle.
(I consider this fight to be an outlier since Black Noir should be faster than her, but it doesn’t change the fight since Black Noir is stronger)
And keep in mind this is the same Kimiko that survived attacks from A-Train
And even reacted to A Train while he was going fast
This says a lot since she was badly damaged while fighting Noir (Had to use her self healing to survive), and she didn’t even get harmed that much while fighting A-Train since she got back up a few seconds later.
And he has shown himself to be much stronger than Starlight in multiple instances
https://giant.gfycat.com/ImpossibleExhaustedHarvestmouse.mp4
This is the same Starlight that survived an attack from Stormfront (Same with Kimiko)
And Starlight tanked a Serbu BFG 50A with no injury
So already Noir scales above Kimiko and Starlight and scales above A Train due to a better performance aganist Kimiko, you could also argue his AP being at least on par with Maeve due to the tree nut scene and her deciding to use tree nuts instead of fighting him.
But it’s an iffy argument, doesn’t really matter though cause I think Noir beats her regardless.
- Section 2: Speed
My favorite section yet.
Noir is stated to be much faster than a car
Not too impressive but this is just the start.
Black Noir was consistently able to dodge Homelander’s beams
And dodged Homelander himself
I made an answer as to why Homelander is Hypersonic+ at least and his lasers are faster, check it out
Homelander is narratively potrayed to be the most powerful being in The Boys and should be the fastest
Not only that but Black Noir is consistently able to counter Homelander’s beams with his knives and is fast enough to throw them
https://i.giphy.com/media/mopdzvwJYP1FbseXKL/giphy.mp4 https://i.giphy.com/media/JrxshenT8yh7W7kpxi/giphy.mp4
No one in The Boys has shown a good speed feat like Black Noir just for this (excluding Homelander) not even A Train has shown anything like this.
- Section 3: Durability
Doesn’t show too much but he’s able to tank a bomb from Naqib
With minor injuries to him
And tanked explosions previously as well
https://giant.gfycat.com/AdorableAbandonedInchworm.mp4 https://giant.gfycat.com/ElementarySpeedyDodo.mp4
- Section 4: Others
Not too much but he’s great at Martial Arts, Stealth, Weapons, etc. He’s basically Batman
I hope you enjoyed the answer, wanna thank some people who remain annoymous for proving the scans to some of these

- What's the most promising movie premise with the worst execution?by /u/BeijingVO2 on September 29, 2023 at 8:28 am
Lots of movies have quite drab or boring plot synopsises like your generic horror or action films but then end up being absolute bangers of an execution from the creators. What about movies that have amazing plot ideas to begin with but then when it's put to film they end up being soggy blankets? It happens all too often these days. Blue Bettle was the last one I thought of. Cool idea, but then just a rinse repeat of everything else we've seen already.... wet.... blanket... - what movie jerks actually had a point?by /u/herequeerandgreat on September 28, 2023 at 11:17 pm
here are a few examples. harry from night of the living dead. him being a colossal asshole doesn't stop him from being absolutely right that hiding out in the basement would have increased the group's chances of survival. clubber lang from rocky 3. sure, he's an arrogant loudmouth who can't even breathe without being disrespectful but he did absolutely win the championship fair and square. fletcher from whiplash. he may be an extremely verbally abusive asshole but he is right that some people need to be pushed beyond their capabilities to be able to achieve greatness. mr potter from it's a wonderful life. while he is easily one of the most morally bankrupt characters in all of cinema(to the point where there's even a popular fan theory that he's supposed to represent the devil while george is meant to represent jesus), he is correct that george's father, as nice of a guy as he was, wasn't very business savvy. even george admits that he has a point. eric matthews from saw 2. he is a dirty cop but he is absolutely right that john kramer, no matter how much he tries to justify his actions, is still a murderer. as he accurately puts it "putting a gun to someone's head and forcing them to pull the trigger is still murder". submitted by /u/herequeerandgreat [link] [comments]
- What pisses you off about new movies these days?by /u/LandscapeRudez on September 28, 2023 at 8:26 pm
A lot of movies feel like they were written by a marketing department. It feels like they got 10 execs in a room and everyone wrote down ideas, characters, plot-points, etc that they know will sell - and then tried to organize them into a narrative structure. There's no vision. There's no plot progression. Its just one random event next to another random event, and characters delivering shitty one-liners. Like writing madlibs. Even B-movies from the 80's and 90's have better narrative structure and story-telling than half the new movies out today. They don't make movies - they make 'content' submitted by /u/LandscapeRudez [link] [comments]
- What movie are you genuinely bummed out about that came and went with little to no attention?by /u/SerDire on September 28, 2023 at 8:15 pm
A recent example for me is The Last Duel. It was going to be a hard sell right out of the gate because it’s 2 and a half hour period piece that deals with sexual assault that was released during the height of covid. It had all the factors to make a bigger splash: directed by Ridley Scott starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Driver and Jodie Comer yet it only made 30 million and is considered a massive box office bomb. I wanted it to succeed because medieval movies are probably my favorite genre and I want more medieval movies with massive budgets because it just looks nice on screen. This bomb hurts because it may hinder other medieval time period movies from being made. submitted by /u/SerDire [link] [comments]
- Which movies really made you think about mortality and death?by /u/clueless_as_shit21 on September 28, 2023 at 8:11 pm
As for me, it was Saving Private Ryan. I have to admit seeing people being slaughtered like lambs on Omaha beach, people calling out to their moms on the ground crying, holding their own necks to prevent blood from spewing, that for a minute, changed me. Maybe I'm the soft one but it really made me see life in itself as a very fragile thing. To make it all worse, it was all to save one guy who in the end refuses to leave and that leads to the death of many of my favorite characters in the movie, and worst of all Tom Hanks' character of whom all i wanted, was to see him get back to his wife, but also that was snatched away at the very end. submitted by /u/clueless_as_shit21 [link] [comments]
- What unimportant line from a movie stayed with you?by /u/RedHeadRedeemed on September 28, 2023 at 7:44 pm
Sometimes lines from movies stick out to me not because they were important or quotable even, but just because of the way they were said or the way the actor looked when they said them. A few for me are: -In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix when Umbridge tries to make the Divination professor leave and Mcgonagall tells Umbridge only the headmaster can do that. They way Umbridge looks at her and says "For now..." just really stuck in my head...So threatening and you can see she is just waiting for her revenge and you just hate her character so much in that moment. In The Shining after Wendy locks Jack in the freezer and he is calling to her as she walks away, when she turns around and says "Yes?" Just the way she says it, exhausted and sad and stressed and annoyed, but still responding though maybe she shouldn't. submitted by /u/RedHeadRedeemed [link] [comments]
- A Horror film that actually scared youby /u/Previous-Tank4798 on September 28, 2023 at 5:07 pm
I want to know what horror movie scared you or traumatized you for a long time after watching it. Mine was The Exorcist. I saw it when I was 10 years old (my stepdad thought it would be a brilliant family movie to watch) and it gave me nightmares for months and I was traumatized by seeing any female possessed or being evil for quite a long time. I have seen it a few more times since then and It still gives me the creeps but not like it used to. It takes A LOT now to scare me when it comes to a horror film and at this point, I can't think of a horror movie that has ever come close to making an impact like The Exorcist did. submitted by /u/Previous-Tank4798 [link] [comments]

I'm honestly curious to hear. Like, everyone loves movies from Kubrick, Hitchcock, Scorsese, Kurosawa, etc. But what about movies that aren't well received but is considered godly by Reddit? Like something that has a "rotten" on Rotten Tomatoes or low Metacritic rating. The first that comes to my mind is Drop Dead Gorgeous. - What actor can masterfully play a hero and villain equally?by /u/Olivebranch99 on September 28, 2023 at 12:27 am
People say there are certain actors that play characters of one moral alignment so well that when they try the other side, you just don't buy it as much. What actors can slip into either so masterfully? Here are a few that come to mind for me. 1) Michael Keaton While I don't geek over his Batman portrayal like a lot of people that grew up with that movie, he plays hero with emotional baggage really well. Even in the recent Flash film, I thought he brought his A game. Then when you look at his villain/antagonistic roster, he absolutely slayed as Vulture in the MCU and even the questionable Ray Croc in the Founder. 2) Daniel Radcliffe I never grew up adoring him as Harry Potter either but I know he was great. My first introduction to him was actually in Victor Frankenstein, a movie that I don't think many people saw but he played a sympathetic outcast "freak" incredibly well. Then there's Now You See Me 2, which despite its other flaws, Radcliffe as a villain wasn't one of them. He wasn't in the movie much but he did come off as an incredibly douchey rich kid that you kind of rooted against more so than the main villains. 3) Rachel McAdams In 90% of the movies I've seen her in, she's a good guy and tends to play very similar roles, particularly when it comes to romance adjacent ones. A stark night and day contrast to her iconic performance as Regina George in Mean Girls. One of the btchiest btches in all of romcom history. I'd love to hear you guys' suggestions. submitted by /u/Olivebranch99 [link] [comments]
