So, the Atlanteans attack. Shuri is killed in her attempt to take the BP mantle and defend Wakandan, or maybe captured and presumed dead. Then Nakia gives birth. Somehow a heart shaped herb is found and given to her, she is powered up and quickly recovers from giving birth (she may even take it while pregnant because she is seriously injured in the Atlantean attack.) Nakia becomes BP and queen regent. She fights Namor, and maybe also rescues Shuri.

What TV show was amazing at first but became unwatchable for you later on?
Heroes
Season 1 was great and fresh. Season 2 didn’t know what to do with itself and just started giving everyone super powers.
By Season 3, characters were just changing motivations at the drop of a hat and it was just a huge mess of bad writing.
The blacklist, so many loopholes and a never ending plot. I mean, the female hero (forgot her name) was wanted and had her pictures broadcast nationwide live, but a couple of weeks after she can do undercover work.
Not the worst offender, but That 70’s Show tanked pretty hard once Eric left. He was sorely needed to make the chemistry of the group work.
Once Upon a Time. The first 3 seasons were good! And then after that they just kept getting worse

What are movies where the final line of dialogue is the title of the movie?
I was watching Chinatown last night (great movie, btw!) and got to the final scene already knowing what the last line is, cause it’s famous and all, but only then clicked that the last word spoken is the title of the movie. (I know you can hear some cops sorta talking in the background as the camera pans out but I don’t think anyone would say that is the final dialogue in the movie).Anyway, got me thinking, what are some other movies like this? How strong is Black Noir in The Boys?
I’d argue he’s the second most powerful member of The Seven
(Note, I’m doing TV Show Black Noir)
Black Noir is my favorite character in The Boys only second to Stormfront (cause she’s hot). So I always wanted to publicly share where I scale Noir, but before I do this, I have to share a few stuff stuff.
- The Boys Presents Diabolical is mostly canon, specifically episodes 6,7 and 8.
That’s really all, now sit back and enjoy (or dislike) this answer.
- Section 1: AP
Black Noir’s AP feat-wise isn’t too impressive since his speed is the real deal, but he’s still no joke since he’s able to fight and defeat Kimiko in a battle.
(I consider this fight to be an outlier since Black Noir should be faster than her, but it doesn’t change the fight since Black Noir is stronger)
And keep in mind this is the same Kimiko that survived attacks from A-Train
And even reacted to A Train while he was going fast
This says a lot since she was badly damaged while fighting Noir (Had to use her self healing to survive), and she didn’t even get harmed that much while fighting A-Train since she got back up a few seconds later.
And he has shown himself to be much stronger than Starlight in multiple instances

This is the same Starlight that survived an attack from Stormfront (Same with Kimiko)
And Starlight tanked a Serbu BFG 50A with no injury
So already Noir scales above Kimiko and Starlight and scales above A Train due to a better performance aganist Kimiko, you could also argue his AP being at least on par with Maeve due to the tree nut scene and her deciding to use tree nuts instead of fighting him.
But it’s an iffy argument, doesn’t really matter though cause I think Noir beats her regardless.
- Section 2: Speed
My favorite section yet.
Noir is stated to be much faster than a car
Not too impressive but this is just the start.
Black Noir was consistently able to dodge Homelander’s beams
And dodged Homelander himself
I made an answer as to why Homelander is Hypersonic+ at least and his lasers are faster, check it out
Homelander is narratively potrayed to be the most powerful being in The Boys and should be the fastest
Not only that but Black Noir is consistently able to counter Homelander’s beams with his knives and is fast enough to throw them

No one in The Boys has shown a good speed feat like Black Noir just for this (excluding Homelander) not even A Train has shown anything like this.
- Section 3: Durability
Doesn’t show too much but he’s able to tank a bomb from Naqib
With minor injuries to him
And tanked explosions previously as well

Not too much but he’s great at Martial Arts, Stealth, Weapons, etc. He’s basically Batman

To have John Conner chase after the world-saving macguffin that will stop nuclear genocide, only for that macguffin to simply be a fallout shelter to ensure John's survival, was a really great surprise. De-Lovely was horrible. GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!, such a creepy ass movie where it focuses on Jerry Lee Lewis's marriage to his 13 year old cousin. I watched Something about Mary a while back for the first time in a while and from the opening credits something felt off - claymation? I don’t remember that.. huh, must be my memory.. while I don’t know it word for word or anything I am pretty familiar with the “flow” of the movie and as I watched I was like “wait, that scene felt weirdly less funny than I remember” and I realised I was watching the extended edition, and it’s just filled with ever so slightly longer scenes that are in almost every case, worse than the original edit - like there’s a scene where Matt Dillon, after his date with Mary asks if he can have a quick squeeze of her tits - it’s a terrible gag that comes off horribly, I can see why they removed it! Made me think back to other extended editions like Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I’d watch the unrated version and the flow of the movie is simply worse, like you can see why they removed it in the first place. For me, the most recent one was Hereditary. I absolutely REFUSED to even GLANCE up at ceilings for fear of what I'd find. Also first time a horror movie had me sleeping with the lights on for 3 nights in a row. Just to be safe lol. Movies like Hereditary are WHY I love horror. The slow build up of tension vs RAH jump scare is just the better type of movie in my opinion. Not to say that I HATE the jump scare, because there's certainly a place for them, it's just they can be so over done that it cheapens the overall experience. You're not jumping at what's on screen, but the noise. But it does work depending on the film too; the Scream franchise really makes the jump scare trope work to its advantages for example. With movies like Hereditary, Sinister, The Woman in Black, Lights Out (to name a few others) they work in being terrifying even to grown ups (in their own unique way vs a slasher) because not only do they have jump scares, but the films prey on innate fears we have; fear of the unknown, fear of the dark. Not to mention, what's on screen is often also burned into your brain and it's what you're gonna think about when you look outside at night. And Hereditary scared the hell out of me because of that exact reason. It's one of those movies you can really only stomach once and you're good. I'll be honest and say outright I haven't seen it since it came out. And if you've seen a ton of horror movies like I have, and know the tropes you tend to go "oh the movie is gonna scare me this way" and if the movie still scares the shit out of you anyways? I'm not sure if this is the case for the USA, but in Australia trying to find old movies to watch is a massive pain in the ass. In the last month or so I've been wanting to watch Vertigo, Rear Window, The Dollars Trilogy, Dirty Harry, Village of the Damned and Children of the Corn. I had to download each one of them. And it's not like I haven't tried. I am subscribed to Disney, Stan, Netflix and Prime because not a single one of them is on a streaming service in Australia, even ones I don't have (at least according to Just Watch). I don't want to download them. I don't like wondering if I need subtitles for non-english speaking parts of a movie, or trying to find subtitles that work in sync. The convenience of just being able to play it from [insert service] is so much easier than finding a good copy, waiting for it to download, copying it across, wondering if it works, if the subs are correct, etc. Why is it so hard to find these movies? So this is a bit of a joke, but I thought of it many years ago while watching Pitch Perfect 3. The most unrealistic thing in movies to me, is that anyone would think the Bella's wouldn't be BY FAR the most popular group on a USO tour. Young, attractive women wearing tight clothing, and dancing somewhat suggestively while signing? On a USO tour, that's the star attraction, not goddamn Evermoist or some country band. I’ll go first: My mom let me watch the movie Cujo when I was probably 8 or 9 years old…at night. That movie haunted me for years!! It made me nervous around dogs for a long time. Once I got older and I saw that movie in a list of movies to watch on a streaming program it made me question why the hell would she let me see that movie at such a young age?!
