No. Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever is a Sony movie, not a Warner Bros. movie. Also, HBO Max will no longer be streaming theatrical movies in 2022. This year, however, Warner Bros. theatrical movies will have a 45-day theaters-only run before moving to HBO Max.)

n the trailer the Queen/Bassett says her entire family is dead. It also shows Lupita giving birth to T’Challa’s child.
So, the Atlanteans attack. Shuri is killed in her attempt to take the BP mantle and defend Wakandan, or maybe captured and presumed dead. Then Nakia gives birth. Somehow a heart shaped herb is found and given to her, she is powered up and quickly recovers from giving birth (she may even take it while pregnant because she is seriously injured in the Atlantean attack.) Nakia becomes BP and queen regent. She fights Namor, and maybe also rescues Shuri.
Something like that.

Heroes
Season 1 was great and fresh. Season 2 didn’t know what to do with itself and just started giving everyone super powers.
By Season 3, characters were just changing motivations at the drop of a hat and it was just a huge mess of bad writing.
The blacklist, so many loopholes and a never ending plot. I mean, the female hero (forgot her name) was wanted and had her pictures broadcast nationwide live, but a couple of weeks after she can do undercover work.
Not the worst offender, but That 70’s Show tanked pretty hard once Eric left. He was sorely needed to make the chemistry of the group work.

How strong is Black Noir in The Boys?
I’d argue he’s the second most powerful member of The Seven
(Note, I’m doing TV Show Black Noir)
Black Noir is my favorite character in The Boys only second to Stormfront (cause she’s hot). So I always wanted to publicly share where I scale Noir, but before I do this, I have to share a few stuff stuff.
- The Boys Presents Diabolical is mostly canon, specifically episodes 6,7 and 8.
That’s really all, now sit back and enjoy (or dislike) this answer.
- Section 1: AP
Black Noir’s AP feat-wise isn’t too impressive since his speed is the real deal, but he’s still no joke since he’s able to fight and defeat Kimiko in a battle.
(I consider this fight to be an outlier since Black Noir should be faster than her, but it doesn’t change the fight since Black Noir is stronger)
And keep in mind this is the same Kimiko that survived attacks from A-Train
And even reacted to A Train while he was going fast
This says a lot since she was badly damaged while fighting Noir (Had to use her self healing to survive), and she didn’t even get harmed that much while fighting A-Train since she got back up a few seconds later.
And he has shown himself to be much stronger than Starlight in multiple instances
https://giant.gfycat.com/ImpossibleExhaustedHarvestmouse.mp4
This is the same Starlight that survived an attack from Stormfront (Same with Kimiko)
And Starlight tanked a Serbu BFG 50A with no injury
So already Noir scales above Kimiko and Starlight and scales above A Train due to a better performance aganist Kimiko, you could also argue his AP being at least on par with Maeve due to the tree nut scene and her deciding to use tree nuts instead of fighting him.
But it’s an iffy argument, doesn’t really matter though cause I think Noir beats her regardless.
- Section 2: Speed
My favorite section yet.
Noir is stated to be much faster than a car
Not too impressive but this is just the start.
Black Noir was consistently able to dodge Homelander’s beams
And dodged Homelander himself
I made an answer as to why Homelander is Hypersonic+ at least and his lasers are faster, check it out
Homelander is narratively potrayed to be the most powerful being in The Boys and should be the fastest
Not only that but Black Noir is consistently able to counter Homelander’s beams with his knives and is fast enough to throw them
https://i.giphy.com/media/mopdzvwJYP1FbseXKL/giphy.mp4 https://i.giphy.com/media/JrxshenT8yh7W7kpxi/giphy.mp4
No one in The Boys has shown a good speed feat like Black Noir just for this (excluding Homelander) not even A Train has shown anything like this.
- Section 3: Durability
Doesn’t show too much but he’s able to tank a bomb from Naqib
With minor injuries to him
And tanked explosions previously as well
https://giant.gfycat.com/AdorableAbandonedInchworm.mp4 https://giant.gfycat.com/ElementarySpeedyDodo.mp4
- Section 4: Others
Not too much but he’s great at Martial Arts, Stealth, Weapons, etc. He’s basically Batman
I hope you enjoyed the answer, wanna thank some people who remain annoymous for proving the scans to some of these

- Watched Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind after a 10 year relationship.by /u/CoffeeCoKy on April 21, 2026 at 2:46 am
Wow. Just wow. What a beautiful movie with such a beautiful message. The breakup was a little over a month ago. I’ve had a cluster of emotions every day that range from happiness, relief, anger, sadness, hurt. This movie really let me know that it’s okay to feel what I’ve been feeling. After 10 years, the heartache was well well worth it. Every bit. And I’d go through it all again to experience those beautiful moments that come with love. At the end, when they hear all the reasons it won’t work, all the flaws, all the ways they’ll hurt each other… and they still say “okay.” 😭 Love isn’t about guarantees. It’s about choosing someone, even with the risk. Love is hard, love is filled with adversity and bad moments. It will never be what you fully want. But that doesn’t mean it’s not beautiful or meaningful. If anything, that’s what makes it feel real. Even though things didn’t last, I don’t regret loving that deeply. submitted by /u/CoffeeCoKy [link] [comments]
- ‘The Godfather’ descended on a tiny Sicilian village, and it’s never been the same.by /u/coinfanking on April 21, 2026 at 2:14 am
When Francis Ford Coppola cast Enza Trimarchi as an extra in “The Godfather” in 1971, the 22-year-old seamstress had no idea she was taking part in something that would change her hometown and define it for decades. Trimarchi appeared in a key Sicilian sequence: the wedding of mafia-boss-in-waiting Michael Corleone and Apollonia Vitelli, filmed in the hilltop village of Savoca. For her, the arrival of Coppola and the film’s star Al Pacino, marked the end of adolescence in a place where life had changed little for centuries. submitted by /u/coinfanking [link] [comments]

I'm watching 'Smokey and the Bandit' for the 70th time and it strikes me again how Jackie Gleason gives one of, if not THE, greatest supporting performance in movie history. Every single line is pure comedy gold. Forget Kilmer in 'Tombstone' and I adore Shaw in 'Jaws' but this is a top five acting job ever put to celluloid. - April 17-19 Box Office Recap – 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' stays at #1 on its third weekend and crosses $750M worldwide, but it's dropping faster than expected. 'Lee Cronin's The Mummy' opens with a solid $13.5M domestically and $34.4M worldwide. A24's 'The Drama' nears $100M worldwide.by /u/SanderSo47 on April 20, 2026 at 9:05 pm
https://preview.redd.it/cdq3f6hstewg1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=2de8ce741d56e5317e5b263a84481db17de704fd Unsurprisingly, Super Mario Galaxy once again held the top spot on its third week, although its drops suggests word of mouth is taking a toll. WB/Blumhouse's Lee Cronin's The Mummy had a solid debut domestically in third place, but it had a far stronger performance overseas to save it from disaster. The Top 10 earned a combined $87.5 million this weekend. That's down a rough 32.3% from last year, when Sinners opened with an impressive $48 million. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie added $36.4 million this weekend, allowing it to take the top spot. The 46% is slightly better than last week, but it's still steeper than the first film (35%). The film has not collapsed quickly, but it's not exactly holding well, indicating word of mouth isn't very favorable. The film has earned $356.7 million, which is $79.2 million behind the original through the same point. With two highly anticipated films coming in the next two weeks, that gap will widen. It looks like Super Mario Galaxy will miss $500 million domestically, and it could also miss $450 million if it doesn't hold well. Leave it up to Project Hail Mary, with the best hold in the Top 10. It eased an absurd 15%, adding $20.5 million this weekend. The drop can be attributed to fantastic word of mouth, but also the film gaining back some IMAX screens. The film has earned an incredible $285.1 million, and should cross the $300 million milestone next week. Debuting in third place, WB/Blumhouse's Lee Cronin's The Mummy (no, seriously, that's how it's marketed) opened with $13.5 million in 3,304 theaters. That's below Cronin's own Evil Dead Rise ($24.5 million), which opened around this spot three years ago. There's no point comparing it to the other Mummy titles. Given its low $22 million budget, this is a very solid start that should point to an easy profit. But it still feels like the film could've done a bit better than this. It was the first pure horror since Scream 7, and Cronin made a good impression with Evil Dead Rise. But it looks like audiences do not have much appetite for a horror-themed Mummy adaptation, even though that's how the movies started back in the 1930s. For trademark reasons (and amidst the announced return of Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz for a fourth Mummy installment), the film was advertised as Lee Cronin's The Mummy, hoping to take the good will he made with Evil Dead Rise here. But that was a double-edged sword; Cronin is not a known names to audiences (compared to other filmmakers), and the title's push was mocked in social media. Trailers emphasized the grotesque elements, but they were very weak in terms of story and dialogue. The film's 135-minute runtime was also a point of discussion, as horror titles are usually much shorter. And the film's mediocre reviews (46% on RT) limited audience interest. According to WB, 56% of the audience was male, and 62% was in the 18-34 demographic. They gave it a bad "C+" on CinemaScore, which is typical for horror. Given the heavy competition on its way, The Mummy will probably fizzle out. But it should still make it to around $35 million domestically. An easy profit, but now Lee Cronin's name is attached to this. In fourth place, A24's The Drama has added $4.8 million, a pretty good 44% drop. That takes its domestic total to $39.6 million, and it looks to close with a little below $50 million. Universal's You, Me & Tuscany added $3.8 million this weekend. That's a 50% drop, which is rough for a rom-com. Through 10 days, it has earned a soft $14.4 million, and it looks like the film might miss $20 million domestically. Disney/Pixar's Hoppers eased 27%, earning $3 million. The film's domestic total stands at $161.3 million. Magnolia's action thriller Normal, starring Bob Odenkirk, flopped with just $2.5 million in 2,060 theaters. Nowhere close to the Nobody titles, but it's not like it was expected. Despite positive reviews, audiences weren't content with the film, giving it a "C+" on CinemaScore. If it makes it past $6 million, color me surprised. BTS World Tour Arirang made it to eighth place, with $1.8 million. A very impressive stat, considering this was playing solely on Saturday. Busboys, a comedy starring David Spade and Theo Von, made its way to $1.6 million in 800 theaters. Rounding out the Top 10 was the Indian title Bhooth Bangla. Opening in 500 theaters, it earned $977,000 this weekend. Neon expanded Steven Soderbergh's The Christophers to 364 theaters, and it earned $610,208. This takes its domestic total to $716,599 across limited release. A24 released David Lowery's Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway, in 5 theaters. It earned a pretty good $168,063. That translates to a healthy $33,613 per-theater average, one of the year's highest PTA. It'll have a moderate expansion next week. OVERSEAS The Super Mario Galaxy Movie added $48.2 million overseas, taking its worldwide total to $750 million worldwide. The best markets are Mexico ($55.5M), the UK ($44.1M), Germany ($34.3M), France ($34M), Australia ($23.5M), Spain ($19.7M), China ($17.1M), Italy ($14.8M), and Brazil ($12.3M). It still has Japan and South Korea left, but the latter is not expected to break out. Based on its holds, it's still set for a $1 billion total, but the drops have been a bit steeper than expected. Project Hail Mary added $21 million overseas, taking its worldwide total to a dazzling $573.1 million. The best markets are the UK ($40.3M), China ($36.7M), Australia ($22.5M), Germany ($18M), South Korea ($17.2M), Mexico ($14.1M), France ($9.7M), Japan ($9M), Spain ($8.9M), India ($8.1M), Brazil ($7.8M), Italy ($5.5M), Netherlands ($4.8M), Taiwan ($4.4M), United Arab Emirates ($4.1M), and New Zealand ($2.9M). By next week, it will cross the $600 million mark. Lee Cronin's The Mummy debuted with $20.9 million overseas, for a $34.4 million worldwide launch. The best debuts were Mexico ($2.2M), the UK ($1.4M), Spain ($1.1M), France ($1M), Indonesia ($993K), Germany ($928K), Italy ($877K), India ($855K), Malaysia ($835K), Brazil ($771K), Australia ($683K), and Colombia ($674K). That's a very good debut, and it should have no problem recouping its $22 million budget. While no exact weekend numbers are available, A24's The Drama is seeing some strong holds overseas. The film's overseas total is now $56.9 million, taking its worldwide total to a fantastic $96.5 million. The best markets are the UK ($10.8M), Latin America ($7.9M), France ($5.3M), Italy ($5.2M), Germany and Austria ($4M). In the next few days, it'll become the latest addition to the studio's $100 million club. FILMS THAT ENDED THEIR RUN THIS WEEK Movie Release Date Studio Domestic Opening Domestic Total Worldwide Total Budget Avatar: Fire and Ash Dec/19 20th Century Studios $89,160,860 $404,340,010 $1,490,477,656 $400M Avatar: Fire and Ash has closed its run with $404 million domestically and $1.49 billion worldwide, ending as the 16th biggest film of all time. An astounding result, showing that James Cameron knows how to pull in audiences. But what's concerning is the steep drop from the The Way of Water. Domestically, the film dropped by 42%, which is quite rough. It also dropped 37% worldwide, or a steep $844 million below The Way of Water. Given the film had a weaker response than the prior films, it saw these rough drops. It's a success either way, but considering even James Cameron admits the budget for the upcoming films must be lower, it looks like he is aware of the audience drop. We'll see where the franchise finds itself in a few years. THIS WEEKEND Mario might have made it to 3 weeks on top, but unlike the first film, it won't top the fourth week. That's because the highly-anticipated Michael is finally making its way to theaters. Distributed by Lionsgate domestically and Universal overseas, the Michael Jackson biopic was in development for quite some time, but it's finally here. Starring Jaafar Jackson (Jackson's nephew), it covers the period from his involvement in the Jackson 5 in the 60s to his early solo career. The film had a troubled production, mainly cause they had to reshoot the entire third act due to a legal clause. The film is carrying a very high budget (around $170 million, with some going as high as $200 million), so the film can't perform like an average biopic, it must do much, much better. The big question is if this can touch Bohemian Rhapsody to become the biggest music biopic in history. That's far better than the debut of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (25.3 million) and was eerily close to War Machine (39.9 million). The film was originally set up at Sony for a theatrical release this year, but they ended up selling it to Netflix. Last week, Humint took the top spot, but it dropped all the way to eighth place on its second week. Anaconda continues showing staying power, with 7 million views on its third week, taking its total to 24.8 million views. KPop Demon Hunters returned to the Top 10 on its 43rd week with 4.8 million views. Leaving the Top 10, War Machine added 3.6 million views, taking its tally to 121.7 million.
