n the trailer the Queen/Bassett says her entire family is dead. It also shows Lupita giving birth to T’Challa’s child.
So, the Atlanteans attack. Shuri is killed in her attempt to take the BP mantle and defend Wakandan, or maybe captured and presumed dead. Then Nakia gives birth. Somehow a heart shaped herb is found and given to her, she is powered up and quickly recovers from giving birth (she may even take it while pregnant because she is seriously injured in the Atlantean attack.) Nakia becomes BP and queen regent. She fights Namor, and maybe also rescues Shuri.
Something like that.

What TV show was amazing at first but became unwatchable for you later on?
Heroes
Season 1 was great and fresh. Season 2 didn’t know what to do with itself and just started giving everyone super powers.
By Season 3, characters were just changing motivations at the drop of a hat and it was just a huge mess of bad writing.
The blacklist, so many loopholes and a never ending plot. I mean, the female hero (forgot her name) was wanted and had her pictures broadcast nationwide live, but a couple of weeks after she can do undercover work.
Not the worst offender, but That 70’s Show tanked pretty hard once Eric left. He was sorely needed to make the chemistry of the group work.

2- Perfection
3- “I am Iron Man“

7- “It’s Fantastic”
8- “Guys, I think I’ve got it”
9- Fant4stic

11- Queen’s Boulevard
12- “By the end of that summer of ’59, we truly were a Fellowship of the Ring.”
13- Mystery men ends with a reporter asking “who are these Mystery men?”
14- “Finally, an end to these Star Wars”

How strong is Black Noir in The Boys?
I’d argue he’s the second most powerful member of The Seven
(Note, I’m doing TV Show Black Noir)
Black Noir is my favorite character in The Boys only second to Stormfront (cause she’s hot). So I always wanted to publicly share where I scale Noir, but before I do this, I have to share a few stuff stuff.
- The Boys Presents Diabolical is mostly canon, specifically episodes 6,7 and 8.
That’s really all, now sit back and enjoy (or dislike) this answer.
- Section 1: AP
Black Noir’s AP feat-wise isn’t too impressive since his speed is the real deal, but he’s still no joke since he’s able to fight and defeat Kimiko in a battle.
(I consider this fight to be an outlier since Black Noir should be faster than her, but it doesn’t change the fight since Black Noir is stronger)
And keep in mind this is the same Kimiko that survived attacks from A-Train
And even reacted to A Train while he was going fast
This says a lot since she was badly damaged while fighting Noir (Had to use her self healing to survive), and she didn’t even get harmed that much while fighting A-Train since she got back up a few seconds later.
And he has shown himself to be much stronger than Starlight in multiple instances
https://giant.gfycat.com/ImpossibleExhaustedHarvestmouse.mp4
This is the same Starlight that survived an attack from Stormfront (Same with Kimiko)
And Starlight tanked a Serbu BFG 50A with no injury
So already Noir scales above Kimiko and Starlight and scales above A Train due to a better performance aganist Kimiko, you could also argue his AP being at least on par with Maeve due to the tree nut scene and her deciding to use tree nuts instead of fighting him.
But it’s an iffy argument, doesn’t really matter though cause I think Noir beats her regardless.
- Section 2: Speed
My favorite section yet.
Noir is stated to be much faster than a car
Not too impressive but this is just the start.
Black Noir was consistently able to dodge Homelander’s beams
And dodged Homelander himself
I made an answer as to why Homelander is Hypersonic+ at least and his lasers are faster, check it out
Homelander is narratively potrayed to be the most powerful being in The Boys and should be the fastest
Not only that but Black Noir is consistently able to counter Homelander’s beams with his knives and is fast enough to throw them
https://i.giphy.com/media/mopdzvwJYP1FbseXKL/giphy.mp4 https://i.giphy.com/media/JrxshenT8yh7W7kpxi/giphy.mp4
No one in The Boys has shown a good speed feat like Black Noir just for this (excluding Homelander) not even A Train has shown anything like this.
- Section 3: Durability
Doesn’t show too much but he’s able to tank a bomb from Naqib
With minor injuries to him
And tanked explosions previously as well
https://giant.gfycat.com/AdorableAbandonedInchworm.mp4 https://giant.gfycat.com/ElementarySpeedyDodo.mp4
- Section 4: Others
Not too much but he’s great at Martial Arts, Stealth, Weapons, etc. He’s basically Batman
I hope you enjoyed the answer, wanna thank some people who remain annoymous for proving the scans to some of these

- Arrival, Prometheus, Interstellar, The Martian, and Ad Astra. How would you rank these major Hollywood sci-fi of the 2010s?by /u/MrBrainfried on May 1, 2024 at 3:22 pm
I know Arrival is the odd one out where they don't technically go to space but still, I thought I'd include it just for fun. All of them are hard-ish sci-fi with heady ideas, beautiful visuals, and great lead performance. So how would you rank them? I enjoyed all 5 and my ranking would be: 1)Arrival 2)The Martian 3)Interstellar 4)Prometheus 5)Ad Astra submitted by /u/MrBrainfried [link] [comments]

- Private Daniel Jackson from Saving Private Ryanby /u/gilette_bayonete on May 1, 2024 at 2:10 pm
For around twenty-five years now I've loved this movie and the first character that always comes to my mind first when I think of the Spielberg masterpiece is Jackson. The performance was just so good that it's stayed with me for all of the years. I saw this movie in theaters as a kid with my father and it was dead silence during the Normandy invasion, but after Jackson got that first kill on the MG-42 gunner on the beach after 15+ minutes of the Allies getting wasted I remember everyone in the theater just going absolutely crazy and cheering. It was like being at a basketball game. Then of course you have the scene where he takes out the German sniper through the scope. The final fight with him in the tower still gives me anxiety as he keeps dropping enemies and they just keep fucking coming. He even misses a shot or two as one of them is running which makes it feel more honest and realistic. And then finally you have the fact that he's a left-handed shooter operating a Springfield designed for right-handed shooters. After the tank takes Jackson out I remember just having this overwhelming feeling of dread and sadness, even as a kid. The squad relied on him heavily,, he was the top performer, and I think killing him off was essential because that's the beauty of it - a strong, nearly perfect character who gets outgunned by a tank. Hats off to Barry Pepper who was pretty much an unknown at the time. I'm shocked he never did end up getting more big roles like the rest of the cast did because Jackson was so good of a character. This post was so much longer than I originally intended but I could go on and on all day about how much I love this movie. Thanks guys. submitted by /u/gilette_bayonete [link] [comments]

- I am hooked on CIA movies. What are the best CIA movies?by /u/Strange_Swordfish214 on May 1, 2024 at 4:04 am
I just watched Safe House (2012) and the movie blew my mind. Now I am hooked on CIA movies. What are the best CIA movies? I really enjoyed the modern aspects of the movie talking about the trade tech scores and psychological manipulation scores from the farm and field work. I am looking for anything similar in modern terms of CIA storytelling. I have googled and searched and Safe House rarely made any lists and when it did it was far low on the lists, for instance 21 on a top 50 list. Apocalypse Now often ranks higher. So this is why I am asking in this thread. To see if the community has any good recommendations. I am also into foreign movies too! Anything on the planet anywhere, any language, as long as its modern intelligence agencies storytelling. I am hooked. Please be kind if you respond! Thanks. submitted by /u/Strange_Swordfish214 [link] [comments]

He did war with Jason Statham, a complete waste of both their talents. How are you going to have these two in a movie and not let them do anyt fighting. The last real movie I that felt like one was forbidden kingdom with Jackie Chan. After that it's just been brief cameos. I just watched Meet Joe Black and while the movie was fine it didn't fully scratch the itch I had for a movie (or even show) where Death is a person come to life. Beauty in the sense that a movie like "Into the Wild" and "Life of Pi" encapsulate a meaning of life and a deeper spiritual mention. Not just a movie that has struck you visually. I wish to find out what movie has given You a feeling of deep connection. I deeply resonate with the story of Alex Supertramp and such alike. Other movies having a story telling a very spiritual journey, capturing the awakening to yourself. What are those to You and why? - Which Hans Zimmer soundtrack is your favorite?by /u/CoolBDPhenom03 on April 30, 2024 at 7:18 pm
I'm still reeling from seeing Dune 2 a second time. Every time I think Zimmer has outdone himself, he comes out with something incredible. Now, clearly, you can still hear elements of his past films and his signature "bwaaaaah" effect, but I still think it's incredible he can go so far as to incorporate unconventional instruments and even create new ones just to achieve an audio aesthetic that reflects the film he's representing. It's easy to forget he also wrote the 1995 Lion King, Days of Thunder, The Rock, Kung Fu Panda when you think of his repertoire mostly consisting of The Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight trilogy, Interstellar, etc. I think my personal favorites are The Last Samurai, Interstellar, and now Dune 1/2, in no particular order. submitted by /u/CoolBDPhenom03 [link] [comments]

- Mickey Rourke has turned down at least 10 roles in movies that became classics: 48 Hrs., Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, Platoon, The Untouchables, Rain Man, Dead Poets Society, Tombstone, Pulp Fiction, and Death Proof. Has any other actor turned down this many iconic movie roles like Mickey Rourke did?by /u/artpayne on April 30, 2024 at 12:25 pm
48 Hrs. - Turned down the role of Jack Cates (played by Nick Nolte). Well, now, it's one of Nolte's iconic roles. Beverly Hills Cop: Before Murphy and Stallone, Rourke was the original choice to play Axel Foley but went to do The Pope of Greenwich Village instead (which is a fine film but quite an overlooked one). Top Gun: Was offered some role but turned it down as usual (might be Tom Skerritt's, I guess). Platoon: Oliver Stone wanted Rourke for Sgt. Barnes (Tom Berenger), but he just turned it down. With all the facial surgeries he had down the road, he could've easily been cast as Sgt. Barnes in a spin-off film. The Untouchables: Both Rourke and Don Johnson turned down the part of Eliot Ness. I mean, these guys, they just turn down roles in movies like this and go on to star in dumb movies like Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man. Anyway, The Untouchables helped to make a star out of Costner, though. Rain Man: Dustin Hoffman called Rourke to offer him Tom Cruise's part, but Rourke simply said, "NO!" Uh oh! Dead Poets Society: This time Rourke turned down Robin Williams' role 'cause Peter Weir declined to make some changes in the script. Well, Rourke himself is a brilliant (/s) screenwriter (Homeboy), and maybe Weir didn't know that. Tombstone: Michael Biehn has said that Rourke was the first choice to play Johnny Ringo, but he turned it down. I don't know, man, but turning down roles might be this guy's shtick. Pulp Fiction: Rourke passed on Butch Coolidge's (Bruce Willis') role so that he could focus on his boxing career. Declining the role of a boxer character that could have helped reinvent your career but deciding to pursue a career you never had. Nice job! Death Proof: Rourke was intended to play Stuntman Mike, and he'd also have been a perfect fit, imo, just like Kurt Russell is. Now here's a couple more where he may or may not have turned down the role or was just considered. Caddyshack: Supposedly, Harold Ramis wanted Rourke for Danny Noonan (Michael O'Keefe), but it's the producers who turned him down here, feeling he couldn't play comedy. The Big Chill: Lawrence Kasdan offered a role, but Rourke just passed on it. Highlander: Was originally considered for Connor MacLeod, but seems like he didn't want to be the ONE! The Silence of the Lambs: Was one of the original choices to play Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn). Now Rourke is a fascinating actor who was once regarded as the successor to Brando but was blacklisted instead since he had burned a lot of bridges, then one day he was given another shot and got resurrected, and now, seems like once again he's disappeared. Well, now, of all the actors and actresses, do you think there's somebody else who's turned down as many major roles as Mickey Rourke did? I don't know if anyone else would come close. submitted by /u/artpayne [link] [comments]
